Laying on her bed was none other than Hiyori. She has just woken up. Looking at her clock ,it was August 15 at 12: 30 in the afternoon.
Getting up to get dress and go to the park and meet her best friend Hibiya. He was an idiot. And because of that Hiyori always hit him or would always yell at him.
But she was amazed at how he would let her do all those things. He was suffering but she didnt care. To her all he was, was nothing but a slave to her.
She hated him but stuck with him because he would do whatever she says. Thinking those thoughts away as she finally arrivied at the park.
Seeing Hibiya already there sitting on one of the swing sets. She walked over to him. Taking a seat on the other swing set next to him.
Hibiya ,upon seeing her, smiled sweetly at her. But she didn't return the smile. Instead she gave a disgusted look. Hibiya felt hurt and looked down.
'How can I confess to her?' He thought. 'She obviously doesn't like me.' He thought once more. He's loved her. Since the moment they met.
Hiyori just stared out into nothing. Not feeling anything. She was completely oblivious to the fact that Hibiya was staring at her.
'Might as well say it, not like our friendship can get any worst.' He thought with not much confidence.
With not much confidence ,he stood up and stood right in front of Hiyori. Hiyori still staring at nothingness was shocked to hear just 4 words coming from his mouth.
"Hiyori, I Love You!" He said. Clenching his fist and shaking with fear. 'I said it! I really did!' He said in his mind. He was happy. Finally he got that out of his chest.
Hiyori was shocked. She really was. But soon that turned into anger and disgust. "Disgusting!" She yelled.
Hibiya with a hurt face stepped back a little. He was at the verge of crying but kept them away.
Hiyori was truly disgusted. 'Why him! Anyone but him!' She thought. 'I hate him!' Her face now showing more anger than before.
She stood up quickly. "I don't love you!" She yelled. She didn't want to acknowledge his existence. She wanted him dead more than anything right now.
Hibiya felt hurt. But he just looked down and continued with his confession.
"I love you..I've always have and I always will." He said just above a whisper. "No matter what I'll stay by your si-" he was cut off by Hiyori slapping him.
"Just shut up! I don't want to hear anymore!" She yelled still keeping her hand in the air for another strike.
"I hate you! I never will love you! Just die and stay out of my life!" She was angry at him. She hated the fact that a disgusting pig like him would fall for her.
Although Hiyori was fairly popular in their school. She was beautiful but she had no interest in people in her school. No she hated each and every one of them.
She liked someone else. And it sure as hell wasn't Hibiya. She liked the adopted boy her uncle has introduced to her family.
He was older than her, more like in his teen years. Hiyori was only 12 and so was Hibiya. The boy living in her house was 18.
Of course love like that wouldn't become a reality but she wasn't gonna give her love to Hibiya. No he deserves to die. 'Hibiya is only an annoying brat, who follows my every order.' She thought.
Hibiya was hurt not just emotionally but also physically since she slapped him. He stopped his confession in order for Hiyori to calm down. He knew his feelings would not be returned but he took the risk.
Hiyori finally calmed down and looked into the sky. She felt the sun burning her eyes. Then she spoke once more.
"I hate summer." She said.
Once she looked back at Hibiya she saw a tear run down his cheeks as he was looking down. She didn't care though. She hated him. He deserves to suffer.
She looked away to see her surroundings. They were still at the park and surprisingly no one was there. No one saw their argument which she was relieved.
Then she spotted a cat. A black cat for that matter. She smiled and said kitty. She started to walk towards it but then it suddenly ran away.
She chased after it not paying attention to where it was leading her.
