"Hibiya! No not again!" She yelled. The boy's body was now lifeless. Even if the paramedics came, the poles impaling him has already killed him.
Tears started to fall down Hiyori's eyes and onto Hibiya's cheek. Strange as it was, this was just complete deja vu for Hiyori.
"No this can't be!" She cried out into the nothingness. Suddenly everything around her became dead silent. The people have now become still as statues.
Hiyori could only look around at this odd behavior. Until a familiar figure appeared out of thin air.
"I told you. Succeeding will be difficult." Said the smiling red light. "Though you tried very poorly on this attempt."
What was happening? Hiyori didn't understand. Why did her life and Hibiya's end up this way. These 'attempts' that the red light speaks of, do they actually hold significance?
"Whatever, I guess it's time for a do-over." She says so lightly.
Again Hiyori felt the world spin and felt a huge headache. Closing her eyes and clutching her head.
Only to open them again and finding herself back in the dark void filled with clocks. The red version of herself stands near another bloody clock with a wicked smile. A loud crack and the bloody clock was now broken.
A vision of Hibiya being impaled clouded Hiyori's mind. Fear and despair took hold onto her.
"Two down one million more to go." The red light said with half her face darkened. "Let's see if you can succeed."
Hiyori's consciousness fades into black. With the voice Hiyori couldn't recognize as her own, she screams into the void.
Hiyori's eyes burst open, as huffs and puffs come out of her mouth. Hiyori rises to sit up and looks around. She is in her room again. Looking at the digital clock it reads 12:30 August 14th. Now Hiyori sees that her dreams or nightmares are actually real.
Hiyori looks around and spots a doll layed across the floor. She leans over and grabs it, recognizing what it was. Putting it in her lap she smiles lightly staring at the doll that resembles a person ,her best friend, Hibiya had made this for her birthday last year.
Hiyori could cringe at the memory, he had given her this so that she wouldn't feel lonely, though thinking back, she remembered the harsh words she said to him. 'Disgusting ,creep ,die' those were parts of the sentences she told him.
It was only then that he had pleaded with her to take it and keep it in her room. Hiyori automatically refused ,but took it as there was no point in arguing, only to throw it across her room and never look at it or touch it again.
Now looking at the doll made her sad. She hugged the doll and whispered lightly "He's saved me twice already." What a crazy nightmare.
She looked at the clock and realized how late she would be getting to the park ,but an idea struck her.
What if she didn't go? Maybe Hibiya would be safe. She looked at the doll and hoped for the best. She would not be leaving the house today. She will stay and hope nothing bad would happen.
Hiyori gets up and goes to the living thinking about how hungry she was. Opening the door, she sees nobody in her house like usual. Her family were all busy working. The only one home was her and the adopted boy named Konoha.
Even though he was there, the boy never came out of his room. He would sleep all day, sometimes even weeks. Her family often thinks he's died but hours later he comes out raids the fridge and off to bed he goes again.
Now Hiyori can feel how lonely it really is. Maybe that's why she always stayed close to Hibiya ,even though she hated him, he was the only one to give her attention out of her whole family.
Maybe she was taking him for granted. 'But that was before! After seeing him die of course I care for him!' she thought, but did she really care for him? Seeing someone die because of you would make anyone sorry. Is this really sadness she feels?
Hiyori opens the fridge and pulls out some ham and cheese with milk. She opens the cabinet and grabs bread. This is all she can make ,a sandwich, usually Hibiya cooks for her. She really has taken him for granted.
