Hibiya was truly worried. Her face showed mixed emotions. Sadness with happiness mixed into one. 'Was she worried that she'd be late?' Hibiya thought. 'Or is she actually happy to see me?'
Hibiya blushed and looked down. 'No way she's happy to see me' he thought. He heard Hiyori walk to the seat next to him. He looked over to her. She had an emotionless face. Hibiya was confused greatly.
Hiyori sat down on the swing and started to feel every emotion crashing into her. But she wouldn't allow them to appear on her face. She was happy that her nightmare was only a dream.
She started to look around the park. No one was around ,just like in her dream. 'Why is it so empty here?' She asked herself. 'It's only noon every kid should be here'.
Hibiya was still staring at her. He was planning on confessing to her today but he was too scared to do it. Finally he stood up. And faced Hiyori.
She watched as he stood in front of her. She was terrified of what he would say. Everything was becoming like deja vu. Then she heard him speak.
"Hiyori I..." he said trying to hide his blush.
Hiyori knew where this was going and she quickly stood up and said "Hey, let's go get some ice cream!" She didn't want to hear him confess. In fear that the same thing in her dream would happen again. "I hate this summer heat." She said.
Hibiya was confused by her proposal but he couldn't disobey her so he simply said okay.
Hiyori quickly led the way to the ice cream shop. She successfully avoided Hibiya's confession but her heart was pounding. Why so? 'It's only because I'm scared not because it's embarrassing' She told herself.
Hiyori was walking faster in front of Hibiya but he didn't mind. 'She doesnt like it when we walk side by side' he reminded himself remembering the last time he tried to do that. Such a painful time.
Hibiya noticed they were walking by a construction site. 'Weird when were they building this?' He thought. Hearing gasping noises to his left he turned and saw people pointing towards the sky.
He looked up and saw a crane holding poles. Watching as a wire cut loose and poles were now falling from the sky. He stopped and looked down to see where they were gonna land.
His eyes fell on Hiyori. His heart started to pound. He quickly ran foward and pushed her. Yelling "Hiyori!!! Look out!!!".
Hiyori felt a forceful push and heard Hibiya yelling. Her heart sank. Everything was in slow motion again. She couldn't move her body since she was falling face first into the sidewalk.
Everything moved slowly until she heard the ringing sound of poles crashing into the ground and each other. Hearing a couple poles piercing through a solid object. Then everything moved at normal speed.
Hiyori covered her face. She didn't want to see behind her but she knew she had. Still hearing the ringing from the poles she looked behind her.
Hibiya was laying on his belly. But you could see a pole sticking out from his back. A pole has cut through his chest and now blood was spilling everywhere.
Hiyori was frightened and saw more poles sticking out of his body. She saw blood coming from his mouth. Suddenly she saw Hibiya move his hands trying to pick himself up but failed. Instead he held his head up and stared at Hiyori.
Hiyori saw as he smiled at her. Seeing blood drip from his mouth. She started crying. She fell to her knees and crawled a little closer to him.
Hibiya saw her cry and wanted to wipe them away but pain was felt all over his body. In fact, keeping his head up was hard enough as it was. He just continued smiling and said with his final breath.
"Hiyori don't cry, you hate me remember? So please don't cry for me." He said before smacking his head towards the ground. The light splash of blood as he hit the ground was visible and heard by Hiyori.
She began to move his brown hair away from his eyes. His smile still pasted on his face. She cried and looked around. Seeing people surrounding them. Why aren't they helping?
"Stop staring and help!" She yelled with all her might. People stood still while others called for help.
