Chapter Forty-Nine
The fact Harry called Louis my brother instead of by his name worried me, although it was the correct title and Louis was intact my brother, it was the way he spat lout the words like venom that effected me so greatly.
“Did you get an answer?” Zayn asked.
I contemplated lying, pretending that he didn’t answer me just like he hadn’t them, but the slightly worried look in Louis’s eyes brought the truth out of me.
“He said to stop calling him” I said finally.
“He answered?” Louis asked. I glanced to the floor and nodded, he grabbed out his phone almost instantly.
“What are you doing?” I jumped.
“Calling him” Louis stated.
“I told him we’d stop” It wasn’t far from the truth, he said if I cared for him, I would get them to stop. If this is what I had to do to prove it to him then so be it. “He said he had some things he needed to figure out and I think that we should give him that”
“What did he tell you?” Zayn asked.
“That he needed space” I answered.
“Why?”
“I don’t know”
“Did he say anything else?”
“No”
“Where is he?”
“I don’t know”
“GUYS” Niall finally yelled out. “Can we leave it? I think its clearly obvious that Abby knows as much as we do about Harry right now, and unit he gets back thats all we’re going to know”
The questions died down after that. The chatter going with it as cartoons rang in the background coating the awkward silence with a happy tune.
Niall, Zayn and Liam opt stepping out randomly each with different reasons, at first it seemed to be just a coincidence but as the trips to get another drink or go grab something from a different room, it became more obvious.
It became so obvious they gave up on excuses and just stepped out. “Am I missing something?” Louis asked when the three boys left together again.
“Im wondering the same thing” I replied to him. Although I felt that I knew what they were discussing.
“I’m going to go find out whats going on” Louis daunted away but barely a minute later they all return and Louis did not look pleased.
