Chris Brown feat. Kevin McCall 'Strip' blasted through the speakers of my alarm clock. I rolled over and slammed my hand on top to hit the snooze botton, followed by a groan. I wish i hadn't done that because my hand started to throb with a sting of pain. I turned over to look at the clock "6:38am" it read. I groaned once again. I grabbed my pillow and smacked it against my face. You want to know why i'm acting this way? Well I moved to Miami from New York just recently, because of my drug addicted mother. Things got very out of hand there for i now live with my dad and older brother. Today is when i start my new school as a junior.
"Good morning sleepy head" a voice called from the unknown. I removed the pillow from my face and saw Jacob, my brother. I rolled my eyes in annoyance.
"Ready for your first day of school?"he asked cheesing like the idiot he is.
"No." I said plainly with no emotion in my face what so ever. He chuckled at my comment, I honestly didn't know what was so funny.
"What's so funny?" I asked with still no emotion.
"You" he said "Don't worry, everythings gonna be fine."
"Whatever you say" I replied rudely while Ialked to the bathroom, slamming the door in his face.
I took off my clothes and hopped into the shower. After I was done, I wrapped myself with my towel, and stepped out of the tub. I walked into the sink. I wipped away the fog that covered my mirror. I turned on the foset and splashed cold water on my face, and started to brush my teeth.
After all of that was done, i got dressed in my dark blue ripped skinny jeans, my red low top Converses, a black tank top, with my black and white varsity jacket that read "On My Level" on the back with big red letters. I attached my red and black snapback into the front loop of my belt. I put on my red G-Shock, and stuck my diamond studded earrings into my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hole while placing silver hoops into the first. I put on my Gucci satchel and walked down the stairs to the kitchen.
I grabbed a bowl, some milk, and a box of Almond Honey Bunches of Oats. Its my favorite cereal by the way. I made my way towards the island and started to eat my cereal.
"Good Morning Baby girl" I heard a voice say. I looked up and met with the face of my dad.
"Mornin' Daddy" I replayed.
"You ready for school?" he asked.
"No, not really..." I responded followed by a sigh. I took my bowl and put it in the sink.
"Come here" he said chuckling slightly to himself. I still don't understand what was so funny about my pain. I walked over to him as he opened his arms for a hug. I accepted, as he planted a kiss on my forehead.
"Everything is gonna be okay, don't worry." he said followed by another kiss to the head. I nodded and pulled away.
"where's Jacob?" I asked? I know, I know, Your probably like, 'I thought you said he was an Idiot?' Well yeah he still is, but unfortunately he's my ride...(insert sarcasm here).
"He already left" he responded with a confused and concern face expression; And again, my face became emotionless.
"He what." I said with stern in my voice.
"He already left" he repeated. "I thought you already knew" he added.
"No, actually I didnt...He 'was' my ride." I said.
"Well, you can always ride the bus?..."he said.
I shot him a look that said 'You ain't serious right?' He raised his hands in surrender. I guess i'll be walking then, since im 16 with no car. I started to walk out the door.
"Bye baby girl, Good luck in school!" he yelled.
"Bye." I said simply as i closed the door behind me.
School started really early here. The sun wasn't even out yet. The sky was a very dim blue-ish purple. If you looked and focused on it closely, you can still see the stars that are out. After a while i made it. "Sandlewood High, Home Of the Mighty Saints" it read. I soon walked into the school buliding and made my way toward the front office. I had a feeling today isn't going to go well. I sighed in annoyance. Oh and remind me to kill Jacob when i see him.
