Ren Williams.

181 years old, hypothetically 21.

Practically dragged back to the cheerful town of Rayville by the mere thought of Juliet Moore.

Ren's humanity switch had been flipped off for years. He knew that he had to turn it off in order to leave Juliet behind, so that's what he did.

The memories were still there but the feelings weren't. His humanity was gone, he didn't see the need for feelings.

As the boy stood on the outskirts of Rayville, he felt as though he was hit with some sort of sudden nostalgia. This was the town he grew up in and even after everything, it was Rayville that brought him home.

"Ren's back, bitches." he smirked, stepping foot back into the town that chased him away all those years ago.

Today was a good day.

Juliet smiled as the sunlight poured into her room. She was sat down at her vanity desk, staring at herself in the mirror.

Today was finally the day she was going to get promoted.

She knew it was a long shot but she knew how her boss felt about her, a promotion seemed inevitable.

Juliet was ready and out of the house within an hour. She got into her car and drove off, arriving 10 minutes after being stuck in traffic for a decent half of an hour.

She didn't care though, nothing could ruin her day. Except for maybe the tall brooding stranger she had just walked into.

Juliet's files were scattered all over the floor due to the impact and it took her a few moments to realise that she should probably help the stranger pick them up from the ground.

"Thank you." she muttered as the man handed the files back.
"No problem." he smiled, about to walk away when Juliet suddenly grabbed his forearm.

The man raised an eyebrow at her and she let go of his arm. "I'm sorry," she spoke uncertainly, "but you remind me of this boy i once knew. "

The man chuckled and shrugged, running a hand through his hair, "Was he as handsome as i am?"
"Yeah. Something like that."

Juliet stared at his hazel eyes, allowing herself to discretely check him out. "I'm Juliet Moore." she said, extending a hand out.

The man took it and smirked, "I'm Ren. Ren Williams."

He smiled as Juliet quickly realised that she was staring.

"Wow, i'm sorry." she laughed, averting her stare. She was about to speak again when she looked up, only to be faced with empty space.

He was gone.
