Juliet poured the bubble mixture into the bathtub and left the room, giving it some time to fill up.

Her family were away in New York for a conference of some sort, meaning she had the house to herself.

She rejected Ren who was more than willing to 'keep her company' whilst she did her homework. Little did he know, she made the whole homework thing up.

Juliet finished any and all assignments at least 3 days beforehand. The whole homework thing was merely just an excuse.

His arrogance had been getting on her nerves lately, the stress of finals coming up and all. She loved him but he just really wasn't helping.

She unhooked her dressing gown from the back of her bedroom door and padded silently down the corridor, back into the bathroom.

She hooked her fingers on the rim of her shirt and was about to pull it over her head when something caught her eye.

"Oh, don't stop because of me. I was getting ready to enjoy the show." Ren chuckled, scooping up a handful of bubbles and blowing it into the air.

Juliet froze and stared at him, slowly dropping her hands by her side.

"You're in my bloody bathtub, Ren."
"As i said, don't let that stop you, babe. Get in!"

The girl rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, "How did you even get into the house without me noticing?"
"Must be your shitty hearing."
"Hey! My hearing is not shitty!"

Ren laughed and ignored Juliet's scowl. He sat up and nodded his head, gesturing towards the other end of the bathtub, "Well? Don't let me stop you from having your anti-Ren soak."

She eventually gave in, muttering 'cover your eyes' before swiftly slipping out of all of her clothes, getting into the tub.

"Can i look now?" he asked, not waiting to hear an answer as he slowly opened one eye, opening the other when he saw Juliet sat opposite him.

"You know," Ren paused, flicking some water at Juliet, "this is a small bathtub."

The girl rolled her eyes again and sighed, leaning her head backwards slightly.

"I can leave, if you want." he said, his gaze turning soft as he stared at the girl opposite him.
"No, no i'm actually glad you're here. I could really use the company." she muttered, barely opening an eye.

"Really?" he chuckled, raising an eyebrow, "You seem to be ignoring me lately."
"I'm just stressed and your arrogance isn't really helping."
"Are you sure my level of insane hotness isn't just throwing you off balance?"

Juliet sat up glared at him but she knew she was smiling. She flicked some water at him, laughing when he tried to defend himself.

"I wasn't ready for that." he huffed, attempting to flick water back at her but instead of reaching her, the water went all over the floor.

Juliet glanced over the side of the tub and sighed, sitting back in her original position.

"When my parents murder me for flooding their bathroom, just know that you're the one that killed the mood."
"Oh? So there's a mood now?"
"There was. Before you ruined it."

Ren laughed and was about to retort when suddenly, he paused and furrowed his eyebrows.

"What's wrong?" she asked, looking at him strangely.
"Your parents. They're back." he said, getting out of the tub and grabbing the towel, hastily wrapping it around his hips.

Juliet furrowed her own eyebrows, finally realising what he was talking about when the sound of keys in the lock rang out through the whole house.

"Okay, just go get dressed in my room. If anything, we can pretend we were doing homework together." she instructed, tucking a wet strand of hair behind her ear.

Ren nodded and was out of the bathroom within a few seconds.

"Juliet? Sweetheart? We're home!" her mother called. Juliet sighed and got out of the bathtub, throwing on a bathrobe.

She padded through the corridor and waited at the top of the stairs, giving her mother a small wave.

"You two are back early." she laughed nervously, glancing back to make sure Ren was in her room. Her father laughed along and nodded, hanging his coat up on the hook.

"Yeah, the meeting ended up being cut short by a day so we figured we would come home early." he said.

Juliet excused herself after a few minutes of small talk and returned to her room, only to not be met by the sight of Ren.

Instead, there was a note on her bed. She frowned and picked it up, smiling slightly when she read what it said.

'Had to go. Maybe we could do that whole bath thing another time? ;)
Love you,
R xx'

She glanced up to see that her window was wide open, the curtains blowing in the wind. "God Ren, you're so cliché." she mumbled to herself, closing the window.

Little did she know, however, that Ren was on her front lawn, listening to every word she was saying.

"Cliché but hot." he smirked, taking a final glance at the house before speeding off someplace else.
