"Are you sure you're okay?" my mother repeated herself.

I set down my computer on the table. "Yeah, I'm fine. My phone is cracked but that's okay."

"You were in a coma for three days. That means you're not okay." she said angrily.

I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Well, Mom, the doctors said that the wound isn't deep so it'll be cured in about three weeks. The only reason I was in a coma was because I lost a lot of blood before the ambulance came. I can walk and do stuff, just not as much as I used to."

"It was a mistake doing that to you, I'm so sorry sweetie." she said.

"Don't be, I've met some friends already." I smiled to myself. "They're super sweet and so nice. Also, they're famous."

I explained to my mom what the twins did for a living. I told her about the videos they made, that they made me laugh a lot. All I heard as a response from her was a sad sigh.

"Sweetie, don't trust boys. They only want one thing." she said. "It doesn't matter how funny they are or how sweet."

"Mom, these twins were the ones who called the police. They spent three days going to the hospital to check on me, I don't think they would to do just so they could... you know."

She sighed again.

"Just be careful."

The doorbell rang, it was Ethan. My mother probably heard it, and I knew what she was going to say. I quickly hung up after telling her that I loved her, and answered the door. Ethan was there, looking good. He was wearing a black tank top and shorts, also a hat.

"Hey Em..." he smiled. "You ready?"

"Yeah! I've been feeling a bit better." I closed the door behind me. "How are you?"

"Well, I feel awkward now that you've seen loopy me." he said. "Ugh, I flirted with the nurse. I took my shirt off too, like not many people do that when they're on drugs."

I chuckled. "Ethan, you do NOT want to know what I did."

"Yes, I do." he laughed. "Spill it."

When I was loopy, I was 0% anxious or awkward. I rapped a whole Hamilton song correctly, and then I called Heather Chandler a bitch. When we stopped at a pharmacy, I started running around picking stuff up and taking the products out. I also started yelling random stuff out loud and many people stared.

"Thankfully my sister didn't stop at a pharmacy. Who would've known what would've happened."

"It can't be worse than me." I said. "You know what the worst part is?"

"What?"

"I actually have a video of it, and they replay it every Christmas to make fun of me." I said. "Oh, if I wasn't shy and antisocial at all, that made me want to stay in my bedroom even more."

We hoped into the car and we drove around L.A. He showed me around Los Angeles, his favorites places and his skateboarding park. I absolutely loved L.A, the way he described it made me fall even more in love with it.

"You need to show me that video." Ethan said. "I need a good laugh."

I rolled my eyes and stuck my head out the window. "You don't want to see that, Ethan. More like I don't want you to."

"What's the worse that could happen?" he said. "You've seen me, haven't you?"

I thought about it for a second, I had the video on my phone and I could play it out. But that would be every embarrassing, and I was already weird enough. Although... It couldn't be worse than Ethan's removal.
