Chapter 53

Jungkook's POV

"Don't move." I whispered to Ryoo Minah, who didn't dare to move a hair after my command – after I pressed a gun at her head.

"Jungkook... don't kill me." she trembled.

I glanced at the envelope in her hand with the title 'Secret Plan'. "Did Jimin tell you to take these?"

She nodded nervously. "You and Jimin are working together right?"

I moved to her side and whispered to her. "If you want to get out of this safely, you better tell me your plan. Otherwise I can't help you."

I took Minah with me and we both went to my office. We closed the door and silently went to open mine. I didn't turn the lights on. Nobody should know that I was in my room.

"We will leave HanSeong immediately. Jimin called his people to prepare a boat. We will leave tonight."

I thought for a moment and at the end I finally came to a plan.

"Listen, I have to call Yoongi right now." I began.

Hearing the name 'Yoongi' made Minah's eyes widen and she intended to escape from the door but I held her in place.

She was about to let out a scream but I stopped her by covering her mouth with my free hand.

"If you make a noise now, there's really no way that I could help you anymore." I threatened.

I heaved a deep sigh and went on with my explanation. "I can let you go. But I will stay here. If you just go like this both me and Junhoe will get blamed. I can't take this guilt. That's why I have to call Yoongi and tell him that you came, that you were suspicious. Then I will go search for you."

Hearing that Minah's struggle became harder and I needed more strength to hold her in place.

"This is also acting. Only when I'm catching you I can help you escape."

Her eyes showed me that she was hesitating. Our relationship indeed wasn't as close as I would take such a risk for her.

"Right now you have two ways to go. Listen to me and do as I say, or I strangle you to death here." I said and choked her lightly which made her gasp.

The fear she showed wasn't a joke and she nodded.

"Go." I whispered and she took the envelope with her before leaving.

I went to the telephone and was greeted by a sleepy Yoongi on the other line.

"Jungkook, do you know what time it is?"

"Sorry, Hyung. You know, Ryoo Minah came to the office just minutes ago. She looked really stressed. And she took something with her before leaving." I said calmly.

"What did she take?"

Wow, Yoongi sounded calmer than I expected.

"An envelope."

There was a pause before I could hear Yoongi's voice again.

"You have to catch her. I'm coming to the operation department. And don't let Shin Suran's people know about this."

"Alright."

I jumped to the car and followed the way to HanGang River. After some minutes I could see Jimin's car and I gave him a sign to stop.

Jimin exited his car and faced me with his gun.

"You're Abraxas." he said.

"I'm not."
