(About 2 and a half months later)
Tori's POV
I woke up to my phone alarm blaring.
"Shut up!" I yelled at my phone, not wanting to move at all. (A/N I've done this before haha) "Phone! I said shut up!" I yelled again when it didn't obey me the first time. I groaned and switched off my alarm, pulling myself from my luscious bed. I walked into the bathroom and took a cold shower to wake myself up. I put on some ripped shorts and a white v-neck with my thumb ring. I pulled my hair down and it hung around my shoulders in waves. I heard a beep from our front.
"Shit!" I screeched, and ran down the stairs and ran out the door to great Haley my best friend waiting for me in her car. I could drive, but I love riding with my friend in the morning. She handed me a coffee and muffin from Starbucks and we headed to school.
"So you never did tell me what happened those two weeks you 'disappeared'." Haley said glancing at me.
"That's because it's unimportant." I said rolling my eyes. Then the picture of me and Damon kissing before he left me alone for the summer drifted in front of my eyes. I shook my head.
"Yeah because your best friend since 3rd grade is going to believe that." Haley said rolling her light brown eyes. We pulled into the school and Haley squealed when she saw Trent. Trent was Haley's boyfriend....best friend with Damon Cahill. My life is just not doing too well. We hopped out of the car and walked over there, just as I was finishing my coffee.
"Hi Trent! Damon." Haley said nodding toward Damon as she practically jumped into Trent's arms.
"Do you know Tori?" She asked, my heart skipped a beat as I looked into his familiar green eyes.
"I think we've met." Damon said, his voice holding a secret hint only I would pick up. It made me feel special. That I was the only one included in that. I just nodded politely.
"We'll be off. Bye Tori!" Haley said as her and Trent went somewhere, no doubt to makeup before first period.
"So did you ever make that decision?" He asked tilting his head like an adorable little puppy.
"I still don't know."
"Guess I'll be fighting for your heart then huh?" He asked giving me a weak smile.
"Hey dude!" Hunter came up behind Damon and slapped him on the back.
"Sup?" Damon asked.
"Nothin' bud. Who's this?" He asked nodding in my direction, like I wasn't there.
"Tori Payton." Damon responded, winking playfully at me. Hunter let out a low whistle as he glanced over my body. Damon hit Hunter and he raised an eyebrow.
"You trying to call claims already? Last time I checked you don't own Ms.Payton here." He said grinning at me. I shivered in disgust. Gross.
"I'd prefer Mr.Cahill any day." I said, putting a hand on my hip, and cocking an eyebrow.
"Oh really?" He said licking his lips, he then put a hand on my waist and pulled me close to him. My eyes widened, and he was starting to creep his hand lower down my back.
"Hunter lay off. She's not interested." Damon cut in pushing him away from me.
"Why-"
"I said lay off." Damon said standing right in front of me protectively.
"Alright man." Hunter said putting his hands up defensively. "I'll see ya later." He said heading off. Damon turned to me, worried. I was still a little frozen.
"Tori?" he asked and put his hand on my cheek. My eyes snapped to his. "I'm so sorry. Hunter can be such an ass." He sad apologetically. I nodded then Damon pulled me into a hug. Before long, I was crying in his arms and he was holding me close, protectively.
"He just brought back those memories." I choked out. Damon nodded and murmured soothing words into my ears. The bell sounded and the next thing I knew, me and Damon were racing down the hallway, looking for our classes. We both stopped in front of the sciences me science room. We walked in to find the teacher sleeping. We shrugged, and looked around. There were 4 open seats. One seat next to a loner boy, who didn't look all that friendly. The next was next to the bitchiest girl in school that was waving at Damon, hoping to get him next to her, no doubt. She's has a major crush on him since the end of time. The final seats were next to each other way in the back, with carvings all over the desk. I started walking toward the boy, when Damon took my hand and pulled me with him to the desk in the way back. Damon leaned down and whispered to me.
"Believe me, these are the best seats here. Tori? Please sit with me." He said in such a deep voice I shivered and Damon smirked. I took a seat next to him and we whispered the whole class about random things. Honesty, that class was probably the most interesting one all day, and that's not because I could actually text in that class. It was because of one certain boy, that won't let go of my heart for the world.Ohhh cute! I will be uploading much more now because of the increase in votes. Thank you to my readers <3 keep doing what your doing! I appreciate it! :)
