Tori's POV
I woke up with my head on someone's back. It was slowly raising up and down. I lifted my head and looked at Damon. I tried to get up but found my hand, tightly in his grasp. I shook Damon, trying to wake him up.
"Damon!" I said trying to wake him. He moaned suddenly in his sleep, and pulled me to his chest.
"Leslie, you can't leave me like this. I love you." Damon said in his sleep. My eye widened. Who's Leslie? Why does he love her? Wait. Was that jealousy? No way! Why would I be jealous of some girl, Damon claims to be in love with? Okay this is crazy. He's probably just dreaming.
"Damon?" I asked silently.
"Leslie, you can't just leave me, I need you. More then you can imagine."
"Damon?"
"Leslie don't!" He shouted, then his eyes sprung open. There was sweat making it's way down his face. He looked at me surprised. His face went from vulnerable to cold in seconds. "What are you doing here." He spat, staring at me in the eyes.
"I'm stuck in the same school as you." I said rolling my eyes. "I tried waking you up but you pulled me to you and stared freaking out in your dream." I finished. He looked scared for a moment. He rolled over, let go of my waist and got up and started down the hallway.
"Damon!" I said catching up to him, but it was hard because he has such large strides. "Damon! Who's Leslie?" I asked, and immediately regretted it, when I was pushed up against the wall. I let out a whimper of pain.
"Don't you ever, ever EVER speak of Leslie! You hear me?" Damon said, his eye dead panned on mine. I nodded my head and as he let go and began walking away I rubbed my arms and let out a groan of pain. Damn it, what's his problem?
Damon's POVDamn me! Damn fucking me! I thought annoyed. I walked aimlessly down the hallway, when I found myself in the boy's gym locker room. I found the extra soap they have and took a shower. I let the hot water wash down my body, washing away my troubles with it. I smiled and continued in the shower before it became cold and reached for the towel I left outside the shower. I grabbed it and wrapped it low around my waist and realized I had no clean clothes to wear. I grabbed my boxers and headed to the nurse to check the extra clothing. I had just founds paid of shorts when I heard a shuffling and a small gasp from behind. I put on my usual smirk and said.
"You done staring Tori?" I asked, now swiveling my head to look at her. Her face was right red.
"No. Actually I'm unimpressed." She said, shocking me with her attitude. I turned around fully and saw her struggle to keep her eyes on my face. I chuckled lightly.
"What's so funny?" She asked placing her hands on her hips, and letting one eyebrow rise.
"You trying not to check me out." I said grinning.
"You know what'd be hilarious?" She asked.
"What?" I asked, curious.
"The fact that, you are so conceded that you think any girl can't resist you." She said narrowing her eyes and turning to leave the room. I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist and pinned her body to my chest.
"You can resist this?" I asked, and she tended up at my touch. I stopped and she turned around in my arms. She looked at me, a serious expression on her face.
"Damon, who is Leslie?" Before I could get mad at her again, she stopped me. "Damon, your obviously upset. I'm not used to it. It's only normal for me to ask. Was she important to you?" She asked softly, tilting her head like a sad begging puppy. I felt my wall begin to break down. I nodded my head in response and she didn't say anything at first. We just stood there, looking at anything but each other, while I still held her in my arms.
"Can you tell me why she's important to you?" She asked slowly, testing to see if I would get mad. But I couldn't get mad now. I was too stuck on the fact of Leslie. Poor poor Leslie. Why did she have to go? "Please Damon? Who's Leslie?" Tori asked again.
"Well...." I began, not knowing where to begin. "She was two years older than me. It all happened when I was just a freshman in high school, while she was a junior. I should have known something was wrong..." I trailed off, not looking into Tori's eyes.
"What went wrong?" She asked.
"She was bullied. She stuck out like a sore thumb. Poor Leslie. She was bullied everyday of her life. Mentally and physically. Girls would taunt her, tell her no one liked her and that no one would ever accept such a freak. They slapped her and punched her. Until finally. She came to a party, all decked out and looking gorgeous. Her blue eyes, bright. Her hair in waves. It didn't take long for those girls to swoop in on her. They started saying how she was an emo and a loner, then they pushed her in the pool." I saw Tori's mouth drop in surprise. I continued. "She was so devastated she ran upstairs and locked herself in a random room. The girls followed and started knocking on the door and taunting her. They crashed down the door, but there was no point by then. Leslie had been standing on the balcony. When she heard them almost into the room, she jumped off the balcony, down 25 feet and hit the pavement. She died 35 minutes later."
"W-Who was she?" Tori asked, almost in tears.
"She was my sister."Awwww :( anybody sad after that chapter? Please comment and let me know what you think! I do love comments!(and votes hint hint) :D
