A/n - Hey guys! Welcome to Just Shh.. I want to thank you all for taking the time to read it and I hope you enjoy ! Keep in mind that this is my first story so please be gentle, but I do want your honest opinions. I will try to upload every Sunday, if I can. I hate when people are not consistant with uploads but I do understand that people have lives. Well, enough of my rambling. Here is Just Shh...

As I sat on my doorstep picking flowers, I realized all my relationships end the same way: Me, plucking the petals off flowers. “He loves me, he loves me not”

“I’m just gunna give up on love” I mumbled to myself.  There was no point in trying. It seems like I’m gunna be forever alone.  The thing I hate most about this, is that I have to start the new school year off single. This was my third failed attempt at love. Mayson, Andrew, Markell, they all ended the same.

The sound of the door opening interrupted my thoughts. It was Ryder, my little brother. He wasn’t the stereotypical, annoying little bro, for a 15 year old, he was actually pretty awesome. He always knew what to say to get me outta my funk.

“Hey Sissy, Mom sent me out here because, and these are her words, she couldn’t stand to see her little girl so sad. I tried to tell her just leave you alone, but it looked like you need a hug. “

“Yeah, I do.” At those words, he reached down and pulled me into the greatest bear hug.

“So what is it now?” he asked “Another break up?”

“Yeah,” I said as I wiped away a stray tear, “How’d you know?”

“The flowers.” He replied with a chuckle. We just sat there in a comfortable silence for a few minutes. I put my head on his shoulder and cried silent tears.

“Hey Sissy,” he paused “Do you know... uh... a girl that um… She is uh… Her name is uh Caralyn?”

“Uh oh! I think my little bro has a crush!”

“What? No!” He turned his head quickly, but not before I saw a faint blush creep across his cheeks.

“So, what’s her name again...? Caitlyn?”

“Caralyn!” He basically shouted at me.

“Okay, okay. Calm down,” I said with a chuckle “What does she look like? Where do you know her from?”

“Well, she has these really nice blue eyes and golden blonde hair, and she goes to our school.” He replied dreamily.

“And I thought you had a crush on her. Tuh! What was I thinking?”

“Okay, so I might think she’s a little attractive.” He replied, the same blush on his cheeks. Before I could reply, my cell phone rang. I checked the caller ID, it was Ella, my best friend.

“Hey Girlie.” She said in a sing- songy voice

“Hey El Bell. What’s up?”

“Well, I’m officially SINGLE!”

“Are you serious? SO AM I! I guess that’s what we get for dating friends. They probably had this all planned out.”

“Omg. Omg. Omg. I seriously cannot believe this. Come over NOW!”  With that I jumped into my ’09 Camry and headed over to her house.

When I got over to her house, I told her exactly how Markell broke up with me. “Coincidently” it was the same way Blake broke up with her. I wasn’t surprised; Markell’s break up sounded kind of, rehearsed.

We didn’t dwell on it too long. We moved on to talking about the latest trends, and the cutest boys, and whether or not we’ll have any classes together for the new semester. I can always count on Ella to make me forget about whatever’s bothering me. While we were flipping through a magazine Ella jumped up, and made a proposal.
