A/n-- As you may have noticed, this chapter is broken up into 2 parts. This is part one. The reason I decided to do this, is mainly because I'm incredibly lazy and can't even finish writing this chappie. As you may have guessed, this is going to be incredibly short.. but I hope you like it! Please stick with this story, and I apologizae for making you wait <3. If you didn't know, my computer's charger broke.. and I couldn't get to the chapter. So I couldn't finish writing it. Thank you for reading this far.. and I hope you LOVE it ! <3

New A/N--if you guys have been following along you've known that I've had problems with my computer and there's just bee A LOT going on.. But I'm back ! I dedicated this Chapter to my editor (who is away on vacation in Puerto Rico) but I would also like to decicate this to YouCanCallMeThat who is not only a great writer (go check out her story All Rubber Duckies Go to Heaven) but a great person. She's the one who helped me with my computer issues. Without her, the story would not be able to continue on. Hope you guys still stick around to the end.. I promise it will be worth it.

Recap

“You know you still haven’t given me your number!” He yelled jogging after me.

“Okay. Fine!” I stopped walking, pulled a pen out of my pocket and grabbed his arm. I wrote my number on his forearm in huge numbers just so I could take up space.

“Why so big?” he asked.

“So no other girls can write their number on your arm.” I said with a smirk.

“I have another arm you know.” He said, returning the smirk. With those words, I grabbed his other arm and wrote:

Riley Temporarily Owns.

When he read what I wrote he started to laugh. And then he got loud. Real loud. I learned something about Sterling; he has a REALLY loud laugh. Before I knew it, the whole hallway was staring. And then the late bell rang. Everyone scurried to class, except Sterling and I, we had a free period. Trying to shut him up I covered his mouth with my hand. That didn’t work so I replaced my hand with my lips. Here we go again.

Fireworks. Only way to describe our kiss was fireworks. When he realized what I was doing, he kissed me back. My lips folded into his perfectly, kinda like we were made for each other. It felt perfect. It felt right. I loved it. Instinctively, I wrapped my fingers around the nape of his neck and started playing with his hair. His incredibly soft hair felt amazing in my hand.

The sound of books dropping ripped me out of the kiss. It turned immediately to get a look at the intruder. It was Calla-Lily Flores. Calla-Lily was a pretty cool girl. I once had her as a lab partner and she kept me laughing the whole time. She had a really sarcastic sense of humor that was mixed in with a super smart nerd brain. She was really cool, but we never really hung out because our circle of friends just didn’t mix.

“Hey Calla!” I waved as she walked closer.

“Hey Riley, long time no see.” She said with a smile “Hi, Sterling.” By the look in her eyes, I could that she 1) Didn’t see the kiss AND 2) Totally has the hots for the new kid.

“Hey” Sterling said with a flirtatious smirk on his face. She hurried away with a blush on her cheeks.

“Wipe that look of your face,” I said once Calla-Lily was out of ear shot, “you look like a creep.”
