20.

(Taylor's POV)

Ian smiles at me and says, "alright T, try again...you can do this I believe in you." I nod and take a deep breath and close my eyes. I hold my hand out palm up and focus on my beautiful baby girl.

Her smile, eyes, hair, nose, laugh. I open my eyes slowly and see that the necklace is floating in the palm of my hand glowing and floating so carelessly. I let out a small cry and smile. "I did it!, we can find her!"

Ian smiles at me and puts a hand on my shoulder. "Nice work T." I smile and a tear drops, "you taught me well...Slade." Ian looks down at me and the corner of his mouth lifts into a small smile and I smile up at him.

The door opens and Zayn walks in. I look over at him and smile. "I did it!" He smiles wide and says, "yes baby!, I knew you could do it!" I chuckle a bit and I say, "let's go find our girl." He nods and says, "let's go."

An hour later.....

I follow the glowing necklace through the darkness of the streets. Zayn and Ian both walk beside me being very cautious keeping an eye out for this siphon. The necklace drops suddenly and I look down confused. "Woah, why did it stop?" Zayn asks, I look around and see a boating dock.

"That's why." I say as I see one singular boat on the edge of the dock, basically saying 'here I am come and get me.' I pick up the necklace and place it safely in my pocket. I start to walk to the boat when I feel Zayn tug on my arm.

"What the hell are you doing." He looks at me seriously. "What you're just gonna walk in there guns blazing like last time, no you need a damn plan." I glare at him and he says, "this is our daughter life we are talking about...not some game, this needs to go as smoothly as possible."

I can feel my face get hot and my eye flicker. "I fucking know that Zayn, get your damn hands off me." I snap my arm away from him and he looks at me shocked. "I know what I'm doing and I don't need you breathing down my fucking neck telling me what not to do."

His mouth snaps shut and he nods slightly. "What the fuck has gotten in your head woman?" He snap at me, I raise an eyebrow at him and he nods, "yeah I have a voice....all I'm saying is don't just shoot first ask questions later."

I sigh and look down. "Hey..." he lifts my head up. "Go get em ...we can deal with the man later baby, I promise." I look between his beautiful eyes and nod. "Alright...I'll be back and safe with our girl I love you." He kisses me gently. "I love you too, and if you two aren't back in ten minutes I'm coming in my damn self."

I nod and then turn around and walk towards the boat. I take a deep breath and glance back at Ian and Zayn then gain my 'mom confidence' and I like to call it and walk to the deck of the boat.

I find a door that leads to the bottom of the boat and I open it slowly. I descend the stairs cautiously and make sure I'm aware of my surroundings. I use my hand to created a ball of fire to use as light.

It's dark and extremely quiet down here. I hear footsteps behind me so I turn around quickly but no one is there surprise surprise. He's gonna be behind me. I roll my eyes and turn around. "Awe, you weren't scared this time..takes all the fun out of it."

I glare and he smiles at me, "remember all the times where I scared you and you would slap my shoulder and say... "Damnit, you scared me don't do that!" I feel my face pull into a small smile but then I snap back into reality.  He gasps, "you remember?"

I shake my head and say, "where is my daughter?" He pouts and says, "there used to be a time where you wanted alone time now all you want is this child." I slap him across the face and he grips my wrist tightly and I grunt in pain. "Don't. Do. That."

My eyes widen at his new tone and he sighs, "I don't like talking to you like that Angel...believe me I just....you don't listen all the time." I try to rip my arm away but he grips me closer and I say, "show me where is my daughter."

He rolls his eyes, "on one condition." I shake my head. "No give me my daughter!" When I shout I hear a small voice yelp out to me. "MAMA!" My eyes widen and I suck in a breath. I look up at him menacingly and shove him as hard as I can but he grab my ankle when I try to run away.

I scream when I hit the ground and he crawls over me. I fight him off by gripping his face. He screams and chokes me. I try to gasp for air so I grab his throat and he grunts and no squeeze as hard as I can screaming out in pain when he lets me go.

I flip us over and squeeze his throat with both hands and after a minute he pried my hands off. I kick him hard and he groans. I take off towards where I hear Olivia. "OLIVIA?!?"

I hear shuffling around and then a sound, "Mama?" I run towards this rusty metal door and pound on it and lean into it. "Baby?!?, hey hey are you in there?" try to open it but it won't budge. "Mama I'm in here help me out!" I tear up but don't cry.

"OKAY, okay okay ...uh, back up baby get as far away as you can and let me know when you are safe but you gotta hurry love." I hear shuffling and I say, "you ready love?!?" She sniffles and I hear a faint, "Yeah!" I take a deep breath and hold my hands out to the door and burst a lot of fire power into it.

My hands and body are shaking. I scream out and throw my head back as I throw all of my power into it. When I look down still screaming I notice that my body is glowing.

I look confused and then I feel my body pulse and instead of feeling tired I feel light, my hair instead of being dark red and brown lightens to a grey and black. The door flies down and I sigh looking around for my daughter.

"OLIVIA!?!" She comes running out of the corner and I kneel to her. "Mama get me out of here!" I hug her tight, "shh, it's okay baby we gotta go now, daddy is outside with Ian we have to go."

She nods and wipes her tears then her eyes widen. "Mama!" I turn around and see the siphon glaring at us. "I thought I told you to come alone!" I hold my daughter behind me and stand my ground. "If you ever touch my daughter again I'll kill you."

He takes a step back and then says, "it's happened....you're complete." I look down at my hands and see tattoos on the tops of them and my hair is this stormy color I just look different. "What do you mean?"

He smirks and says, "you are finally in contact with all of your infantile power angel.....so beautiful." I feel my heart tingle and I walk towards him as if I'm under his spell but Olivia holds my hand tight an dot bring me back. I look down at her to see her tear stained face and her fear.

I snap back to reality and hold my hand out to him and say, "never again." I twist my hand and he goes flying into the dark hallway. I scoop Olivia up and run out of the room. "Run mama!" I run as fast as I can up the stairs and into the deck of the boat.

I hear his crunching steps behind me and I let Olivia on to the dock and tell her to run to Zayn as fast as possible. I go to step on the dock but am blocked by an invisible force. I pound on it and Olivia turns to check if I'm behind her and gasps.

She screams for me and I cry, "go baby, don't worry about me!" She drops to her knees, "Mama behind you!" I whip around and see the siphon behind me. "Didn't think you would be going so easily did you?"

I hear footsteps behind me. I look to see Ian Olivia and zayn running to me. "Taylor!" Zayn shouts for me and I let a tear slip. "Ah ah ah, the only way you get to leave here alive is if you leave her with me."

Zayn swallows and his eyes turn black. "Take care of our daughter." Zayn shakes his head and comes on the other site of the barrier and holds his hand up to me. I press mine against the other side and sniff.

"What do I do?!?" I smile slightly and say, "Slade will help you out baby... I'll be fine." He shakes his head and says, "this isn't how this was supposed to work out." I nod and frown, "I know baby, I know but ill be fine just take care of Olivia!"

I shout as I'm being pulled away by the siphon. "SLADE HELP THEM PLEASE!" Ian nods at me with a somber face.
