It's been 1 year since Luke and Hannah became boyfriend and girlfriend at prom. Now they have 34 days left before they graduate high school. But there's prom coming up in 2 weeks from tomorrow, which is Saturday, and it's time for the guys to ask the girls. (Luke) Can you believe it? We've been together for 1 year! (Hannah) I know and when I became your girlfriend, the relationship I had with Brad was in the past because he wasn't the right one for me! I'm so happy that I found the right one for me. That's you! (Luke) I love you so much! (Hannah) I love you too! They kiss. What Hannah doesn't know is that Luke's promposal poster is in his locker and he'll ask her after school.
6 hours later. Everybody is walking out of class because it's the end of the school day and it's the weekend! Luke stops at his locker to pick up his poster. Isabella and Noah walk with Hannah to go to Luke. Luke is by the cafeteria with a bunch of fellow students for his promposal. Hannah, Isabella and Noah arrived at the cafeteria and see that the students are with Luke. Luke has his poster open that reads: "Hannah, I WANT more TIME for US to be TOGETHER! SO will you GO to PROM with ME?" It even has pictures of them from prom last year and from over the summer. (Hannah) YES! Students cheer loud! Luke picks up his girlfriend in his arms, spins her around, puts her down and kisses her. (Luke) I love you! (Hannah) I love you too! Noah even gave Hannah a big bouquet of dandelions, her favorite flower, from Luke! Luke takes the poster in his left hand, Hannah takes the bouquet of dandelions in her right hand while they both each other's hands, intertwining their fingers together.
1 hour and 30 minutes later. They're at Luke's place and they're sitting on the couch with Luke's arms around Hannah. (Luke) I can't believe this! (Hannah) What? (Luke) 1 year ago, we went to prom as friends because your boyfriend was out there somewhere cheating on you and now here we are, 1 year later, and in 2 weeks, we're going to prom as boyfriend and girlfriend! (Hannah) Now it's time for me to be honest with you! (Luke) You're always honest with me! You were just honest with me when you said 'yes' to my promposal! Hannah nods. (Hannah) I know! But this time is different because I've been keeping something from you! Over the summer, when you were out on tour, I told my dad about us and he didn't believe me that I said I had you as my boyfriend and I also told him that you were in 5SOS. He laughed because he thought that it was a joke and I told him that it wasn't a joke! He didn't believe me! I couldn't believe that he didn't believe his own daughter about having a boyfriend who's in a pop rock band! (Luke) What does he want you to do? Hannah tears up because it was time to tell Luke what her dad told her! Hannah turns to Luke, still tearing up, Luke holds her cheeks and kisses her because that's the one thing he needed to do because something wasn't going right for his girl! (Luke) Hannah, talk to me! (Hannah) Luke, he wants me to break up with you and go to Brad! (Luke) Wait a sec, Brad, the ex-boyfriend who stood you up at prom last year just to go out with another girl and who your best friend spotted when she was buying something for her boyfriend, Brad? (Hannah) Yes. My dad wants me to date someone who will be there for me every second of every day and will love me for me and not someone else! (Luke) Are you serious? I've been there for you and I've been loving you for you! You're my girlfriend! You know that, right? (Hannah) Of course I do! I love you too! But he's not understanding me! He thinks that he can still tell me what to do, who I can date, who I can see! He thinks that he can control my life! According to him, I'm still his baby girl since I was born! (Luke) He needs to understand that his baby girl is a freaking senior in high school and she's growing into a young adult! He can't control her life anymore! He has to let her make her own decisions! If she wants to date a guy who's in a pop rock band, then let her! Let her be happy! (Hannah) Thank god my father is far away from this country because the only place I wanna be is right here, with you, in your arms! I love you, Luke! (Luke) I love you too, Hannah! Come here. Luke leans down and kisses his beautiful girlfriend!
