Art and Other Lamentations

The Ones Mentioned in the Previous Chapter

So these were what I had planned on multiple occasions to do and then realized it would be unlikely for me to manage to finish so I started another one (in order) (I do plan on finishing these eventually)

1. The original plan was to make a sorta nostalgic piece. The idea was that the person world hold the sun, from the sun would come a dreamlike mist showing off summer and the world that wasn't the mist would be mostly representing school/society/etc. I had planned to do it in all pencil with no color, and I proly would have been able to finish this one but I decided that rather than being reminiscent and bitter the drawing should be happy and celebrate summer so I inevitably ditched it.

2. After deciding to celebrate summer I immediately went for a bedazzled person (just their profile) because I really like that stuff. This was really hard as I do not really like summer other than the fact that school is out and the stuff I do appreciate is also that of spring or fall. The lineart is not particularly visible, sorry. My plans for this one would her eyes being the night sky, her Mohawk an ocean (with sea creatures) she actually has two ear sets and two antennae. Above her nose is a beak thingy. Some other summer things involved were broken glass, bird references, sunflowers, suns, shells, insect references (mainly beetle and butterfly)pearls, tomatoes and other summery plants, and storm references.

3. This one I had planned on being an interaction between some of my OCs in a summer situation, this was abandoned fast after remembering how long it would take to properly draw one of them

4. The plan for this one was to create a page filled with people doing summery things, honestly in this one's case I just forgot about it.

5. OC gang playing poker in the summery weather (most of them cheating)
This one was abandoned later than most of he others because I was trying to push myself, but I listened to reason and realized it was something I could not do in the time frame if I wanted it to be something I liked.

6. Summer rain. Perhaps one of the best parts of both summer and spring would be the rain. All the puddles and the almost fluorescent glow of the plants after and during the rain.

7. Summery person dead/unconscious in water with curious mermaid. No I do not care that the body would float. I wanted to do something cool that involved the ocean but was still summery so what better than someone drowning? I thought there was a chance of finishing this in time but then I remembered the sea life and careful shading of water I wanted and realized I would not be able to finish.
