It was around 2am when my phone decided to light up with a text message from Luke. I opened it to see five or six pictures of him and Alice. They looked pretty drunk and I could see what looked like Calum and Michael stumbling around in the background.

"Why would he. He knows he's hurt me with this before." I said to myself.

It lit up again with one of them kissing. I can't believe he'd do something like that to me.

He's not here. No one is. I'm alone. The box is right where I left it. One cut and a dozen pills and I could end it all. No one is here to stop me.

I mean after all what's the point in living. He obviously doesn't care. God knows where my parents are. It seems they have abandoned me. I have no friends at school. Therefore I have no one.

Soon she'll have him wrapped around her finger. He'll forget about me and everything will go back to where it started. I'll be  A my room crying every night. Sitting on the floor in the bathroom taking away the pain with a cold sharp razor.

Not now. I can't. It'll be all over in the morning. I'll forget about it.

-

The whole of Sunday had passed without him coming over, texting, calling or anything.

I didn't want to call him or anything just in case I was annoying him or something.

I decided that I'd be ready to face school on Monday so I decided that I'd go.

-

I walked to school alone as per usual. I sat down in my seat for registration class and the bell rang then the Mrs Williams had dismissed us.

I was walking to my first class and I saw him. With her. Hand in hand. He looked at me then kept walking. What was I? Was I a bet? Did he only talk to me for sympathy?

I told him to go out with his friends because he deserved it and now he's come back with a new girl. I can't tell if I've been dumped or cheated on.

I couldn't stay here any longer. I went to the main office and told them I was sick so they let me go home.

When I got back to my house I sat on the sofa staring blankly, then I must have fallen asleep to be awoken by the loud thuds of someone knocking on my door.

I got up and opened it to see him standing there.

"What do you want." I asked bluntly.

"I know what you saw back there-"

"Save it. I don't care." I said slamming the door but then he stopped it with his foot.

"I wish you wouldn't be so stubborn all the time."

"And you know what I wish you didn't send me pictures of you and Alice kissing that night. I wish I never saw what I saw today."

"But listen. Julia I can explain."

"No you can't Luke. I don't want you to pretend that you like me. I don't want you to talk to me I just want you to leave me alone now go."
