What Are They Hiding?

"And... how did your dad accepted Scott?" We're talking about random things and the topic became Allison and Scott.

"What do you mean?" Allison bit on her apple.

"She meant, how did your dad accepted Scott, if Scott's a werewolf... and your family are werewolf hunters." I explained.

"Ah, yeah. He doesn't have anything to do. He has to deal with it." Erica and I nodded.

"Bad girl." Lydia added and I grinned at her.

"How's Airica?" Allison laughed with the others. Well, not me.

"What the hell's Airica?" I raised an eyebrow.

"A ship name for Aiden and Erica." Cora explained. I just nodded slowly.

"What the hell?" I mumbled to myself and sighed.

"Nothing's new." Aiden said sternly and sunk lower in his seat. Erica just looked down.

I looked at Erica, then to Aiden. I tilted my head to the side and bit my inner cheeks. He raised his eyebrows at me and I gave him an irritated look. More like, ready to kill him look. He sat straightly and cleared his throat.

"Actually, um. I'm going to take her on a date tonight." I gave him a nod. Erica looked at him, obviously confused.

Is this one of your stupid ideas?

I guess so.

She looked away and I smirked.

"How about... Jora?" Lydia traced circles on the table. Cora and Jackson cleared their throat looking uncomfortable.

"What the hell are these stupid names?" I mumbled to myself.

"It's called ship names."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." I said, only me could hear.

"So...?" Lydia continued on teasing the two, while she smirked.

"We're um... fine?" Jackson's face just made me want to laugh. I hid my laugh with small coughs and hid my face behind Erica's back.

"And... Isllie?" I stopped on whatever I was doing and looked at Lydia like she was a crazy person.

"I meant, I want ice on my tea." She took her tea and sipped on it.

I looked at Isaac who's face was completely red from trying not to laugh. I gave him the look I was giving Lydia earlier until his face turned normal again.

"What? I was just, uh- nothing." He tried explaining, but quickly looked away.

"Why can't you just admit you like each other and be like the way you used to be?" What is Cora, Lydia and Erica were all talking about? I looked at Cora for an answer, but she was stopped by Lydia and Erica.

I looked at Erica, but she just sighed and shrugged. I turned to Lydia and she just shook her head. I looked lastly at Isaac who looked nervous, but refused to look at me. What are they hiding? I could feel it, I could sense it. Ugh!

***

"Do you- you know- like- do you know something that I don't?" I asked Isaac. We're currently alone on the Lacrosse field, sitting criss-cross.

"So many things, like my birthday, my house, my-"

"That's not what I meant." He shifted from his seat and looked uncomfortable again. I raised my eyebrows at him. He looked at me and sighed.

"Yeah, I uh, know something you uh don't." I turned my whole body to him.

"Then what is it?" He sighed once more and took a deep breath.

"I can't tell you." With that, he stood up and walked away from me.

"Isaac! Isaac, wait!" I stood up, but I froze after.

I let him walk away further. He stopped and looked at me, but he didn't say anything and started to walk again.
