The Real Truth
I laid on my bed and I thought of everything, till I got to the point of overthinking. I couldn't take what they're hiding from me anymore. I need to know it and it's now, or never.

Meet me at the park. -Ellie
I sent the text to Lydia, Cora and Erica who were all together hanging out. Without me. Erica's just too nice to invite me. I got a quick reply from them.
Alright. -Lydia
Okay. -Cora
Why? -Erica
I didn't bother myself on replying to Erica, she'll come by anyways. I tapped my foot on the ground, waiting impatiently. I heard three familiar voices from my side.
"Hey." Cora smiled and I beamed a smile back at her. Lydia just gave me a small wave and I smiled at her. Erica just nodded towards my direction and I just still smiled back.
"So, what's the problem?" Lydia asked. Erica stayed silent the whole time. We sat on one of the benches, California air approaching us.
"I want to know... the truth." They all looked at me with confused faces.
"Truth?" Cora repeated. I nodded and looked at all of them. They don't have any clue of what I'm talking about.
"Yeah, the one you're all hiding from me." They shifted from their seats, uncomfortably and exchanged looks. They looked back at me and Lydia sighed.
"Um, it's nothing. Really." Erica's heartbeat was uneven and I could tell how she's lying.
"I know there's something you're hiding. All of you: Lydia, Cora, Erica... and even Isaac." Their eyes widened when I mentioned Isaac's name. They stayed silent, looking at the ground. "What are you all hiding? Tell me now, or I'll find out from mom." Erica's eyes widened.
"No, no. Don't tell mom, she doesn't know what happened to you." She spoke, a little too fast.
"What do you mean? What happened to me?" They all frowned, followed with a sigh.
"You got into an accident." I furrowed my eybrows.
"I can't remember anything like that." I shook my head.
"Remember when you woke up with a bandage on your head?" Erica asked.
"Yeah, but that was when-"
"That was when you got hit by a car." I shook my head really fast.
"No, no, no-"
"Yes. And Ellie, we lied to you. We said you accidentally fell and hit your head really bad, but we lied, Ellie. We lied." Cora gave me an apologetic look.
"Why?" Was all I managed to say. I almost whispered it.
"Because you and Isaac had a problem. You were really broken and were too young, that's why we chose to hide it from you; so you wouldn't have to think about it anymore." Lydia replied.
"And that's why we moved out of Beacon Hills. For you to never see, meet and even remember Isaac again." Erica added.
"Is that why Isaac's so harsh towards me?" They all nodded together.
I started to think. Think about Isaac, think about him and me, then it came crashing through my head: the day we met, all the times we spent with each other, how happy we were and all... All of it.
