CHAPTER TEN

After Yoongi explained his part of the story and also how they already knew about Madelyn being alive, the rest of the members could just sit there and be surprised at what they’ve just heard. Jungkook being the most happy as to hearing that Yoongi might have a clue to where Madelyn might be, tries to ask him but for some reason Yoongi’s memory is blocked. Taehyung looks at Jungkook who suddenly went from being happy to being sad as he keeps seeing clues turning into useless ones.
Jin who seems to notice the sudden sadness in the room tries to think of a plan to make them all gain that determination again but it seems everything they try to do fails.

Jungkook POV
I was really hoping that Yoongi might know where Madelyn is seeing as he looked so sure of himself, when he said that he had an idea of where she could be but I don’t know..

Taehyung POV
I can see this having no lead is beginning to upset Jungkook but he’s trying his best not to show it, but he’s surely failing in that. I just want to make him smile again ,but nothing seems to work.

Namjoon: Seems the people we’re going up against are surely strong and clever..
Hoseok: Seems so yeah..
Taehyung: Everytime it looks we’re getting closer something or someone stops us from going forward..
Jin: THAT’S IT!!
(All the members look at Jin)
Jimin: What??
Jungkook: Yeah.. What do you mean Hyung?
Jin: Just think guys.. Everytime we get closer.. There are suddenly people trying to stop us right.. Powerful and Clever people..
Taehyung: So... What does that have to do with..
Yoongi: You’ll only put a clever and powerful group at a location if..
Namjoon: You have something to hide..

Normal POV
It looks as if the boys finally came up with something that might help them find the location of Madelyn and all of this happen because of Taehyung talking randomly. Jin who seems to have caught what happened to them these past few days as well as the story Yoongi told, put all of this together and finally figured out what the clues mean. And also what the story wants to tell them.

Jin POV
The story tries to tell us where Madelyn might be kept it is also trying to warn us for what might be waiting for us, but I can’t tell that to the group especially now that Jungkook looks more hopeful.

Yoongi: Yes we’re close Jungkook and I know you’re excited but remember one thing..
Jungkook: What’s that Hyung?
Jin: Things are about to become really..
Namjoon: Troublesome..

Normal POV
Jungkook looks at his hyungs as they explain to him what is about to happen once they leave this house and go through with what they just found out. He stares at them tears coming through his face as he knows he’s basically putting their lives on the line to save his girlfriend.

Jungkook: I’ve been going through a lot of stuff these past 3 years, feeling depressed about the death about Madelyn and now that I know she’s alive. I can’t sit here and do nothing she’s my life and I will sacrifice my life to save her.
Jimin: Wow..
Yoongi: You should enter a drama class..
Jungkook: What??
Jin: We just said things will become troublesome, we didn’t say anything about not going..
Taehyung: And I thought I was the loud mouth..
Hoseok: You still are.. But be happy..
Taehyung: Why?
Yoongi: Because now Jungkook is your right hand crazy man..
(Group starts laughing)

Jungkook POV
I don’t understand??.. They are laughing but just a while ago they spoke about putting their lives at risk, so why are they laughing instead of being worried..

Jin: Because being worried will only worsen the situation Jungkook.
Namjoon: So have fun and laugh..
Yoongi: Because tomorrow..
Jimin: You might not be..
Hoseok: Able to..
Taehyung: Why couldn’t you guys save me an awesome line in that sentence..
Jungkook: (laughs).. Okay..

Normal POV
The boys start enjoying themselves by having a small party in the house of Heisha and Hyeona. Heisha seems to be out as well as Hyeona, but for some reason the only one to notice that is Jimin. The boys not worrying about anything at this moment as they have no idea if they are going to live tomorrow when they go up against the fearsome people who are holding Madelyn as we’ll as the other girls hostage.
Jimin feeling a bit uneasy as to why the house owners aren’t here partying with them. He starts walking towards the kitchen hoping they would be there but no such luck. He starts walking the entire house but no one in sight, as to doing this the members seem to wonder what he is doing.

Hoseok: Jimin what’s up dude?
Jimin: Don’t you guys think it’s strange..
Jungkook: What??
Jin: Wait...where’s Heisha and Hyeona????
Namjoon: Wait ...Jimin did you...
Jimin: I tried to look for them but they aren’t in the house..

Normal POV
The boys stop their little party and start looking for the two girls who seems to have gone missing. Jin being the oldest and always the one who worries the most gives the boys a small warning not to leave the house as they could be spotted outside by the gunmen especially now that it is already dark.
Namjoon and Jin as well as Yoongi starts looking around the house as for clues to where these girls might have gone, but nothing seems to be misplaced to show they struggled.
Jin: What could have happened??
Jungkook: Maybe they went to the shop..
Namjoon: Can’t be.. The shops are probably closed by this time..
Hoseok: Yes the shops close early in this area..
Jin: So where could they have gone..??
(Taehyung runs to the members)
Taehyung: Guys look here... They left a letter..
(Jin takes the letter)
Jin: “ Sorry for leaving boys but it seemed you guys are sorted and figured out the hideout of the kidnappers so now My job as well as Hyeona’s are done, and we can go back to our home. It was really great to have met you boys again.”
(Jin closes the letter)
Jungkook: So they were helping us.. But how ..
Jin: They told us to enter into this house.. Because..
Namjoon: The kidnappers hideout..
Yoongi: Is just a few blocks..
Hoseok: Away..
Jimin: Well I say we pack our things and get ready for war..
Taehyung: I agree on that..

Normal POV
The boys start cleaning up the house as they’ve decided to prepare for what might happen tomorrow, seeing as they don’t want Heisha and Hyeona's hard work to be for nothing. Jin tells the boys to take a bath and prepare themselves mentally as well as physically, as they have no idea how things are going to work out. The members go to their rooms as to follow what Jin has said but deep down each member feels the fear.

Jungkook POV
Tomorrow it all goes down. I don’t know if I’m strong enough to rescue and protect Madelyn this time. I’m scared, even though I don’t want to admit this .I have fear inside as I want to save my beloved but I also don’t want to die. Just how can I do it without losing my life.

Taehyung POV
I can’t believe I’m having doubts about what might happen tomorrow. I mean I was full of energy when I found out Hanna, Sarach and Hanbyeol was still alive. I wanted to help Jungkook to get Madelyn back and also hoping to find those three girls at the same place but now... Now I don’t know.. That determination I had is gone.. The courage I build up is gone.. Just how am I suppose to face those gunmen when I have too much doubt inside of me.

Namjoon POV
I can see on each of the boy’s faces that they are terrified, but they are trying to look strong. I wanna know how am I suppose to lead them when I am experiencing fear myself. How am I suppose to protect them when I am weak myself. I can’t do any of those when I can’t even convince myself that I can do this..

Yoongi POV
I might face those two girls tomorrow, seeing as they are probably part of the elites who are holding Madelyn hostage. Just how am I suppose to look those girls in the eyes knowing what they are capable of. The fear I had that day hasn’t left me yet, and now it seems I have to face that fear but I don’t think I can.

Hoseok POV
I don’t have anything to say to myself as I know I won’t be able to go tomorrow. The way I am thinking now is not going to give me positive results. I promised Kate that I would visit her again, but if I die tomorrow then that would mean I broke my promise.. But I also can’t let Kookie down. Just what do I decide to do now..

Jin POV
I bet each member has their fears and  doubts about tomorrow and I swear who wouldn’t, seeing as we might go into that battle alive but not come back. I don’t have the power to protect them and neither does Namjoon. I want to save Madelyn and make Jungkook be his happy side again ,but just how do I do that without asking the members to sacrifice themselves.

Normal POV
As each members stays in their rooms thinking of tomorrow and all experiencing their doubts and fears , Jimin who stood at each ones door and listened to what they feared suddenly asks each member to meet him downstairs.
The boys hearing what Jimin asked of them follows him downstairs, but are confused as to why he asked them to come down.

Jin: What’s wrong Jimin?
Namjoon: Yeah .. We need to prepare ourselves for..
Jimin: I need to tell you all a story..
Hoseok: What kind of story..
Yoongi: Is it important..?
Jungkook: Yeah.. Is it because we need to prepare ourselves for...

(As Jungkook speaks each member stands up and gets ready to walk up when)
Jimin: You all have too much fear and doubt to face those people tomorrow!!!

(The members freeze at their spots)
Jungkook: What are you talking about?..(laughing)
Jimin: The very moment you stood still when I said that proves that I am right..
Yoongi: What makes you think we have fear and doubts??
Jimin: Because each one of you have been through things, terrible things and tomorrow you might face the exact people who did that to you back then.. And that scares you.
Taehyung: (looks down).. I agree with you Jimin... Everyone the determination I had I can’t seem to find it..all I find now is fear.
Yoongi: Same here..
Hoseok: I can’t handle the pressure..
Namjoon: Me neither..
Jin: You are right Jimin..
Jimin: You all might be facing problems but deep inside I know Jungkook..(Jungkook looks at him).. You’re fearing the most.. Because you don’t want to be the reason if your friends die..
Jungkook: I ... I don’t want them to die.. Because of me and my love life..
Jimin: That’s what I thought!!.. Now the story I want to tell you is what I went through and how I surpass that moment of having fear and doubt inside myself.

Normal POV
Jimin looks at each member and shows sure determination and courage as he prepares to tell them just how exactly he found that courage to do things others fear for. Jimin who wants to show others that fear doesn’t define you and that you should sooner or later face it and show it who is boss.

Jimin: So the story happened when I just finished College and went to look for a future for myself.
[ FLASHBACK]

The story goes on as a certain young man named Jimin goes and search for his dream job as a fitness instructor, but for some reason he’s finding it hard to get accepted as most of the gym's in his area seems to have enough instructors. Jimin walked through almost every gym located in his area but unlucky for him no one is looking for help at that moment.
Jimin now losing hope on want to do next seeing as all the gyms in the area has already been searched finally decides to just give up.

Unknown: Hello..
(Jimin startled by the sudden appearance)
Jimin: (looks up)... Oh hi..
Unknown: I’ve seen you walk around town.. What are you looking for if I may ask?
Jimin: Oh... I’m looking for a job as a gym instructor..
Unknown: Let me guess all the positions are full..
Jimin: Yes... How did you know..?
Unknown: Because what you’re currently doing is what I did 2 years ago..
Jimin: But did you find one.??
Unknown: Nope.. I decided to open my own one..
Jimin: Really??
Unknown: Yes.. It was hard at first but it worked out at the end..
Jimin: Oh..
Unknown: If you’d like I can hire you..
Jimin: (smiles).. Really.. That would make me really happy... By the way who are you..
Unknown: Oh.. My name is Jazzeel...and I work at JS gym..
Jimin: JS???
Jazzeel: It is my name and surname Jazzeel Sanchez..(laughs)
Jimin: Cool name..

Jimin POV
This girl seems nice but why did she suddenly jump out of nowhere and offer me a job as a gym instructor. I’ve been looking everywhere but why couldn’t I see her gym anywhere, maybe she’s testing me to see if I’m desperate to get a job and then when I say yes she’ll try and take advantage of me.

Jazzeel: You think too much Jimin..
Jimin: (shocked).. How did you know my name is Jimin..
Jazzeel: Because it’s written on your jacket... (Looks at Jimin confusingly)
Jimin: Why you looking at me like that..?
Jazzeel: Are you scared of me or what..
Jimin: What makes you say that..??
Jazzeel: Well because I’m still standing on the same spot, whilst you’re almost at the end of this sidewalk..

Normal POV
Jimin who’s now in a confused state as to what this girl is talking about and how she’s carefully observing him, looks more and more scared. Jimin tries to run but for some reason he’s too scared to move. The whole time these two are looking at each other trying to think what the next one will do, but seems Jazzeel made the first move as a on coming car suddenly starts shooting..

Jazzeel: Jimin follow me!!

Normal POV
Jimin starts running behind Jazzeel as the car suddenly gets closer to him. The driver of this car seems to be after Jazzeel but shoots anyone who’s close to her.. And it looks as if Jimin is the current target..

Jazzeel: Jimin run faster or you’ll die..
Jimin: I can’t.. I’m too..

Normal POV
The words came out of Jimin’s mouth but for some reason he was now in a total surprise as he heard the gun go off, but he’s still breathing. The confusion of Jimin goes over and over in his mind as to what exactly happened. Jimin starts touching all over his body but there seems to be no injury, and the car drove off immediately after shooting.
Jimin starts looking around hoping to find Jazzeel but for some reason she’s no where to be found. Jimin now assuming she might’ve ran off, decides to go back to where he was but something stopped him dead in his tracks..

Jazzeel:..(trying hard to breath) ... I ... Told.... You.... To.... Run...
Jimin: (shocked).....
Jazzeel: (spits out blood)... You.... Need... To .... Remember... One ...thing... Jimin...
Jimin: (takes out his phone and dials for an ambulance)... Hello I need a ambulance immediately... HURRY UP!!!!
Jazzeel:..(starts losing consciousness).. Remember... Jimin... Never be afraid to.... Sacrifice your life..... For someone... You love...
Jimin:  I’m sorry Jazzeel... Hold on....
Jazzeel: I...  Was... With.... You.... When we were.... (Takes a deep breath).. In middle school...
Jimin: (Looks at her..)...... You mean...
Jazzeel: I... See... You’re... Still.... Wearing that necklace... I gave you...
Jimin: (Surprised)... Jazzeel Jassy Sanchez... Is that you...

Normal POV
As Jazzeel says the last words to Jimin in his ears, she passes out due to loss of blood. Jazzeel seems to have only a few more minutes to live when Jimin picks her up and starts running to the hospital with her. As Jimin reach the end of the alley the ambulance arrives at the nick of time. The now tired Jimin puts her on the bed and climbs in with her while on their way to the hospital.
They finally arrived at the hospital and immediately gets Jazzeel into the hospital. The doctors who are readied for what they seem to have heard was a serious condition of a young girl. Jimin goes and sits on the couch in the hospital as he was told he can’t go inside where they’ll be preparing to operate on the girl.
The surgery was surely very long and painful to Jimin who deep inside was so worried that his cowardness could be the reason Jazzeel won’t be able to survive this. The doctor seems to move in and out of the room and it makes Jimin even more worried, but lucky for him a young nurse comes out and explains everything. To him

Nurse: Hi Mr. Jimin.. Your girlfriend is in a serious condition as she has lost a lot of blood.
Jimin: (crying)..
Nurse: The doctor are doing everything they can to save her..
Jimin: Please .. Save her.. I need her in my life or I’ll fall apart..(cries)
Nurse: They are doing their best sir..
Jimin: Thank You..

Jimin POV
I can’t believe this is happening to me.. Just what did I do... Just why couldn’t  I be strong enough to save her..

Normal POV
Jimin sits on the end of the chair as he struggles with that fact that he wasn’t strong enough to protect Jazzeel from these people, but also the last words she told him before she passed out. The whole situation comes clear to Jimin as he stands up from his seat and starts walking to the exit of the hospital. The walk from the hospital to the gym of Jazzeel's was long but with the anger he feels inside of him now nothing is impossible for him.
Jimin walks straight to the gym and enters it only to find it has been trashed and perpetrators are still inside the building. The guy looks at Jimin as if he’s telling him to get out.

Guy: Get out here Kid!!
Jimin: (stares at him)...
Guy#2: HEY ARE YOU DEAF!! GET OUT!!

Normal POV
The second guy approach Jimin and tries to drag him out but the force of Jimin’s punch knocked that guy straight out. The other members of the guy start looking at Jimin with a scared expression on their faces, as they are remembering Jimin’s face, but this wasn’t the same face he had on when they were chasing him and Jazzeel.
Jimin now in total fury walks forward towards these men, who seem to have taken out they weapons as to get ready to start shooting at him but for some reason Jimin doesn’t have any bit of fear in his eyes anymore.

Jimin: (looks at them).. You shot at my friend...
Guy: We... We... Just.. Just... Did as we... were ... Ordered to do..
Jimin: (looks at them more seriously).. Who ordered you to do that...!!
Guy: We can’t..
Guy#3: We can’t tell you...
Jimin: WHO ORDERED YOU!!!!!!!!

Normal POV
The sudden seriousness of Jimin gets the men who can’t seem to notice that they are actually in control seeing as they have weapons into a total surprise. Jimin starts walking closer to the one that seems to be the leader, but each step he takes makes these men in front of him more and more scared. Jimin now not knowing where all this courage came from stood now face to face with the leader.

Jimin: Who ordered you??
Guy: It is...

Norma POV
Before the guy could answer he was suddenly struck by a bullet. Jimin who seems to have blood on his face but with no fear that this guy was just shot in front of him, turns around to look at the long smooth hair of a young girl and to his surprise it is someone he knows very well.

Jimin: (surprised)... Why...

Normal POV
The person has no answer for him as she just looks at Jimin with a serious face but Jimin could see the tear at the end of her right eye. Jimin tries to approach her.. But she suddenly shoots at his feet, but not to hurt him just to warn him not to come closer.

Jimin: (looks up slowly)... Why did you do this Jazzeel??
Jazzeel: I was actually ordered to kill you Jimin..
Jimin: (surprised face turns into a serious one).. Why didn’t you??
Jazzeel: Because you were a scared boy..
Jimin: Why did you make me fearless instead of killing me while I’m scared..
Jazzeel: Because we were once best friends..
Jimin: You better kill me now Jazzeel.. Or I will..
(Someone hits Jimin from behind)
Jazzeel: Rest for now Jimin.. We’ll meet again one day..

Normal POV
Jimin who was struck from behind and started losing consciousness as he looks at Jazzeel leaving the gym with someone right behind her. Jimin stares at this person but all he sees is something that reminded him of someone he and his buddies knew very well.
The last thing Jimin saw was their car driving away as he finally loses consciousness.

[FLASHBACK END]
