I stretched the next morning as I got out of bed. Brielle was still asleep so I left her for now, wanting to wake her up, later on, to let her get as much rest as possible. I threw on my sweatpants and a shirt before heading out into the living room. Brielle's mom was sitting on the couch watching some TV, I smiled at her and then headed for the kitchen to make some coffee. "Do you want a cup of coffee?" I asked, smiling wide at Brielle's mom. She smiled happily, "If you don't mind dear." She replied, getting up from the couch, walking over to sit at the kitchen table. I poured her a cup of coffee before grabbing the creamer and sugar from the cabinet. I walked over and place the cup in front of her along with the other things before returning to the kitchen for my cup. "Jiyong? Can we just talk Mother-in-law to Son-in-law?" She asked me as I returned to the table, I nodded and smiled. "Of course, anything." I said smiling at her with my boyish smile. "I want what's best for Brielle, please give her that. She deserves every ounce of love you give to her, and I don't wanna see her hurting anymore that she has in the past. I trust that you will take her hand in marriage with honor, not just because you don't wanna be alone for the rest of your life." I listened to her mom's words carefully, nodding every now and then. "My goal isn't to just marry her because I don't want to be alone, I want to marry your daughter because I love her and I want to make a future with her and our son, I want to keep making memories with her and to grow with her. I want to have another child with her in the future, I love you daughter." I replied before taking a long sip of my coffee. She looked pleased and smiled before taking my large hand in her small one. "You are going to be the best father there is, I'm sure of it, please take care of my little girl and your baby, she deserves a man like you in her life, whether you had bumps or not, she deserves you and no one else." I felt tears prick at the corners of my brown eyes, her mom was very understanding, even though Brielle and I had some issues, her mom still wanted me to marry her and be apart of her life. I had never felt so happy until I Brielle, no words could describe how much I was in love with her, and I never wanted to stop loving her. "Your daughter makes me so happy, I don't know where I would be if it wasn't for her stepping into my life that night at the concert." I said, my voice cracking slightly, her mom just continued to smile.
~Brielle's P.O.V~
I stepped into the hallway, listening to the conversation between Jiyong and my mom. "Your daughter makes me so happy, I don't know where I would be If it wasn't for her stepping into my life that night at the concert." My heart fluttered in my chest as he spoke, he really truly felt for me, no matter what had happened. I peeked around the corner and made my way towards him, placing my hands over his eyes, he chuckled slightly. "You were listening weren't you?" He asked, causing me to giggle and pull my hands away, taking the seat next to him. "I'm glad I made you feel that way, I want to keep our future rising." I said, taking his free hand in mine. He smiled down at our hand entwined with each others, I couldn't help but smile too. "What shall we do today?" I asked, looking around at the both of them. "Have you had a baby shower yet Brielle?" My mom asked, raising an eyebrow at me in amusement. "I have not, I didn't really give it a thought." I replied, chuckling at my mom's reaction. "Well then there's something to do today, let's plan a baby shower." My mom suggested, excitement seeping out of her. I smiled and nodded, looking over at Jiyong, who was chuckling and smiling. We spent the day searching for places to hold the shower, which would be in a week or two, just before my due date. We then found a perfect place, just a little ways into downtown Seoul. "What do you want the theme to be?" My mom asked, grabbing a notepad and pen. I pondered the thought, trying to think of cute ideas for the theme of the baby shower. "What about puppies?" I suggested, earning a snicker from Jiyong. "What's so funny pabo?" I exclaimed, poking him in the forehead. "I think puppied would sound cute, that's why I laughed." he replied, poking me back in the nose. I the middle of talking my phone buzzed, I rolled my eyes before simply replying to the unknown number.

This shit was getting old, it was tiring. I pushed my phone to Jiyong, who looked displeased at the messages. "Just stop replying back Jagi, it's not worth it." He said, sliding my phone back over to me. "So is puppies going to be our theme?" My mom said, breaking the tension. I smiled and nodded watching her scribble stuff down on the notepad. "I'm gonna go to the store and pick up the supplies we need, I'm taking your car, Brielle, is that okay?" My mom said, standing up from the table, I nodded and tossed her the keys. She smiled and waved before heading out the door. I sighed and turned towards Jiyong, who was staring at me, he placed his hand on my large stomach, rubbing his hand in slow circles around it. I smiled at him as I watched him. He was so proud.
