"Another body has been found over the the last two days. The victim was a woman, 5'7, and identified as Finda Streep. This is the third body that's been found in less than a week. Officials are saying it was a rogue animal attack..."
Chris huffed as he listened to the news anchor on the screen. Mundane people were so oblivious to the outside world, where the supernatural existed and roamed free among them, without even realizing it.
What ever werewolf who was doing all this killing was covering its tracks right, because Chris still couldn't find a good lead. He'd went out searching for it the night before, of course after his kids were asleep, but he didn't think it would be this hard to track the wolf down.

Over the past few days, Stiles fit in well with Scott and his friends. He and Scott were like two peas in a pod, actually, and stuck together like they've been best friends for years instead of barely three weeks.
Scott was easy to joke around with. He was like the best friend he's ever wanted, someone he's never really had before.
He and Scott had only four classes together, including P.E, which is where he found himself at the moment. Physical Education was his least favorite class, primarily due to the fact that he wasn't much of an athletic guy. The lean build he developed was only due to Uncle Chris's habits of giving him regular 'monthly exercise lessons'.
"Come on! This isn't so bad!" Scott chirped. Stiles and Scott were doing pushing ups, enforced by Coach Finstock of course. Well of course Scott wasn't complaining, he looked like it was nothing for him. He was freely doing push ups with no problem at all, while Stiles just wanted to move his hands from under him so he could crash to the ground.
"Let's go Argent! What is that, a tent? Put some muscle into that twig you call a body!" Finstock yelled, clap-talking while he yelled at the students. "Greenburg are you deaf? Did you not just here what I told Argent-"
Stiles rolled his eyes at him, and glanced back at Scott, who was doing one-hand push-ups. He swore Scott had to be on steroids or something because he didn't know anyone other than really professional athletes who didn't feel like dying after the third push-up.
"How are you still alive?" Stiles wondered out loud. Scott moved his shoulders up and down, appearing to look like a strange shrug. How was his shoulder not popping out of its socket?
"I work out." Scott replied bluntly. Stiles scoffed. "Well no shit."
Scott shook his head and continued his push ups. "Stop being wimps and man up! Especially you Greenburg."
Stiles didn't understand what was wrong with Greenburg. He didn't talk much, but then again Finstock never let him talk, as he never called on him. Weird.
His muscles still ached even when PE ended, because Finstock decided it would be a good idea to make the students run five laps around the gym right after the push-up bonanza.
Scott didn't look affected at all. He was still his usual chirpy self as he rambled on about the summer reading project he had to do to get his grades up. Then he went off into other topics that Stiles didn't really understand, but played along with and listened.
"Anyways, I totally think you should join the lacrosse team." Scott suggested as they walked to History. Stiles raised an eyebrow at Scott. "Why would I do that?"
"Why not? I know you're stronger than you look, and we're looking for new members anyways." Scott said casually. "You'd make a good addition to the team."
