I nod, "Ginny and Harry were together at all of them and Ron was drunk, so I never went. I wouldn't have anyone to hang out with and I don't drink." "Oh that's too bad. Well I'm sure there will be some parties this year. Maybe you could go with me?" Oh my god is he asking me out???!!!!!!! Maybe he's just trying to be nice so I won't be alone. What if he means just as friends? "Hermione! Come on we're going to visit with the Griffindors!" I stammer, glad to have avoided answering, "Coming!" and follow Ginny out eagerly.
