I was with the guys. They were still working on the baby's room to surprise Kitty. They wanted to do something nice for her. I think it was really sweet of them. Mostly when Kitty and I don't have a lot of time to work on it.
I walked into the room. I had sandwiches and drinks for them. Sam came and take the tray from me. Also, thanked me. I looked around the room. The guys got a lot done. They were sitting on the floor eating. I then said,
"This looks amazing guys."
"Thanks. Hope she will like it." Jake said.
"When is she coming home?" Ryder asked.
"She is stay the night at Marley's place. They are having a girls' night." I told them.
*Ryder's POV*
"Okay. Then we can work a bit longer. Then come back another day to finish the rest." I suggested.
"Sounds good." Puck said.
We then got done eating and went back to work. We worked for a bit longer. Then we called it for a day. We then left the house. I got into my car and headed home. Jake, Puck, and Sam was coming back to hang out at my place.
"Mom, I home. Few of the guys joined me." I yelled when I entered the house. I didn't know where she was. But I know she was home. Looks like my dad was too. I headed into the living room. There they are.
"Hey guys. How was doing the baby's room for Kitty?" My mother asked.
"Good. Almost done. Just have to put the final touches." I told her.
"That's good. You guys are doing something so sweet." My mother said.
"We will be in the back shooting some hoops." I told her.
Then the guys went to the background. We were playing a game or two. Then we just shooting hoops. Then Puck asked,
"So, I have to ask. I know Jake you are back with Marley. But Ryder when are going to do something?"
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"Really? You and Kitty. We all can see it." Puck said to me.
"You even asked me to see if it was okay from me." Jake said.
"I don't know. I am trying to figure something out." I said.
"Ryder, you know she likes you back. You need to do something. Don't be scared. You got this." Puck said.
I just stood there. He was right. I was scared. I was scared that she going to regret me. But also, I don't want to ruin the friendship we have. She is something special to me. I think I need to take a big step towards to something better.
