The Past Returns

Chapter 56

So, tomorrow Quinn and I were going to check it out. I was getting excited. I might get to meet people around my age. He storied from other stories. Have more help and people to talk to.

When the next day has come I was excited for the day. Quinn gave that group a call to let them know we are coming to visit. Jake will be joining us. I got ready for it all. I went downstairs to wait for Jake and Quinn. I was so ready to meet people like me.

"Hey. You ready?" Quinn asked me.

"Yeah. Jake should be here soon." I told her.

Then we heard a car honk. I looked out to see Jake's truck. He was coming out of his truck and came to the front door. I opened the door for him. We all agreed to take one car. We were all going to take Quinn's car. The building was this beautiful brick building. It looks like it has a few floors to it. We went into the building. I the inside was beautiful.

"Hello, may I help you?" A woman came up to us.

"Hello there. We were here to see this group." Quinn was saying.

We then heard someone yell,

"QUINN!"

We all turned around to see a woman around the Quinn's age come to us. Quinn smiled grown. She went over to her and gave the other person a hug. Jake and I just stood there. Looks like someone Quinn knows comes here. They then came over to Jake and me.

"Kitty, Jake this is a good friend of mine, Tracy. Tracy this is Jake and Kitty." Quinn introduced.

"Nice to meet you." I said.

"Same to you. I take it you are here to see this place. Trust me this place is where people like us." Tracy said.

"Tracy and I were pregnant the same time. We met here." Quinn told me.

Then Tracy started to show us around. Telling us about the place. I liked it here. I felt like I was welcomed. Where somewhere I can come to and just detoxes from the outside world. I was getting a drink from one of the machines.

"Are you kidding me?" I said when the water bottle got stuck.

"Here. Let me help. It gets stuck some time." Someone said.

A guy then came over and hit the side of the machine. Then the water fell. I was going to grab it but the guy grabbed it and handed it to me. I then said,

"Thanks."

"No problem. You are new here." He said.

"Yeah. I just heard about it just yesterday. I am Kitty by the away." I said.

"Ray." He said.

"Nice to meet you Ray." I said.

We started to talk for a while. Then Jake came over to us. He had this protective face on. This was not going to be good. He came over to us.

"Jake this is Ray. Ray this is Jake the father of our child." I told him.

"Hey." Jake said.

"Hey." Ray said.

"Quinn was wondering if you are ready to go?" He asked me.

"Yeah. Sure." I said.

"Well, nice to meet you Kitty. Hope to see you around more." Ray said.

"I think you will." I said.

Jake and I then headed to meet up with Quinn. I really do like this place. The people here are super nice and understanding. This is a place I came to get away. Talk to people that understand and going throw what I am. This is what I have needed for a while.
