I walk quietly into my classroom, I give myself a silent congratulations because I'm the first person to get to class. I sit in the room, very silently. The teacher hasn't even arrived. After ten minutes of awkward silence, the door creaks open. I see a familiar head pop through the small crack in the door, Tyler. I sigh, staring at his face. He comes and sits next to me, and stretches backwards over his chair. I felt heat rise to my cheeks.

"What are you doing?" He asked with a cheeky smile.

"Waiting for everyone to get to class. What did you think I was doing sitting in a classroom quietly?" He blushed obviously not expecting me to answer seriously. We sat in silence, when once again the door opened. Except this time it opened very quickly and fully open and there in the doorway stood, Gabriel. Tyler sat up quickly and glared dangerously, at Gabriel. In return Gabriel gave a cheeky, it almost looked like he was teasing Tyler. Obviously I didn't want to get in the middle of this, but it was too late. Gabriel, came and sat on the opposite side of Tyler.

"Hello, Scarlet. How are you this, fine day?" He talked in a mocking voice.

"I'm fine, how about you?" I asked him with my best smile, if I was watching a girl do this with him, I would have counted it as obvious flirting.

"I'm very well," he said this as he looked over me towards Tyler. I decided to stay out of this and faced the front, and put my head on the desk. It wasn't much longer when very, very late comers entered the room. The teacher, Mr Vlang was the last to arrive. The class went very quickly for his teaching was very stupid, but I was very grateful for when the class came to an end. I hurried off to my next class, not even waiting for the teacher to dismiss us. I went straight to my next class, I was dying to get out and sneak around the school, hopefully undetected. Most of the people I was friends with last year know to back off. I do admit that I was very rude to them trying to explain what had happened, but I don't know if everyone got the message. Once I finally got to class, I saw that someone had beaten me there. It was Josh, of course, we had maths. Josh was the number one mathematician at our school. All the math teachers adored him, and a lot of people that were bad at maths stayed with him too. Josh had once been my friend, well distant friend. Otherwise it was a casual hey or hi, in greetings. He was seated at the front of the classroom, his head down reading problems in our textbook.

As I sat at the back of the class I crossed my toes, fingers, legs and arms, that neither Tyler, or Gabriel, were in my class. That was before I heard the door crash open. All I could do was drop my head, for in the doorway, the two boys were fighting for who will enter the door first.
