As I opened my eyes, I could once again feel the warmth of a hand covering my own. As I looked down I didn't see the messy blonde hair of Gabriel. There were only the messy golden curls of Trent. I sighed and turned to my side, running my hands through his hair. He shifted in his chair before his breathing went even again, and I knew he was sleeping. As I looked around the room, I saw that there was a silhouette just outside the door. I was starting to freak out, my breathing became heavy, and quick. The person was getting closer, and closer to the door. I started to shift in the hard plastic bed, ready to jump out and run. When the door opened, I was happy it wasn't any of the figures I had seen, but I was surprised to see Tyler.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" He wouldn't look me in the eye, so I faced away from him. "Hey, I'm sorry for not visiting, formally." That drew my attention. What did he mean by 'formally'? Was that actually been him that I had seen in my dream. I shook the thought out. Of course it wasn't, but I still questioned the thought.
"It's fine, I haven't really been awake. Well, at least I don't think I have." I shrugged. I was so confused, I didn't even know how long I have been asleep. Tyler started to walk towards me. He sat on the opposite side of Trent, and reached out for my hand, which I quickly pulled back. I don't even think I registered that, it was as if someone had controlled me. That was when I noticed a slight pressure at my elbow. I looked down and saw a hand, as I followed the arm, it was Trent. I shook him off and took my hand from him, which I just realised I was still holding. I hesitantly wrapped my arms around my lower stomach so no one could take them. Once they were behind my back the door open once more, and Gabriel stepped through, he just stopped dead at the door, looking at me, his face just drooped, and he stepped over to my bed and sat on the end, obviously because the two chairs had been taken from Tyler and Trent. I pulled my legs up to give him more room.
"So, this is awkward," was all I said. But it was evident that it had lightened the mood a bit more. I looked at the three boys faces and a small smile was on all of them. I instantly felt better, which made the three look a bit brighter. It was as if I lightened my mood, they did too. She smiled ever more, and started laughing. The boys just looked at her before Trent burst into laughter too, and the other two followed. They all just sat there, laughing, all trying to see who could laugh the hardest. After a while they all settled down, just quiet laughter. No one lost their smile for a long time. After a long time, I felt my eyes become heavy and knew that sleep would come soon. I really didn't want to go to sleep, especially with these boys altogether, they would probably end up kill each other. As I felt my eyelids close, not allowing me to open them. I said
"Guys, please, don't kill each other." Finally I let my exhaustiveness take over me.

I make it to the hospital about ten minutes after I heard what happened to Scarlet. I ran up to the front desk, struggling for a breathe
"Hey... I'm here... to see... a patient, that would have only arrived a... while ago." I gave her a quick smile.
"Oh yes, Scarlet," said the lady, she smiled back. "She is in room 35." She grinned again, and I took off in a sprint. I ran back.
"Thank you," I said, and took off down the hall once again. I was watching the numbers on the walls ascend. Slowing down, and counting up, 31, 32, 33, 34 and finally 35. I stand outside the door, preparing myself to see Scarlet. I could imagine here, without even having to see her. Her dark brown hair, which has purple ends, her soft cheeks, always rosy. Her slim and curvy body, I smiled as I saw her, a perfect image in my mind. I took a breath and stepped through the door. I never prepared myself for what I saw. Her normal colourful face was pale, her slim figure now thinner than normal. She looked like someone entirely different, but I knew it was her. I went over to the opposite side of the door, and sat in the chair, so if anyone else came in I didn't have to look away from Scarlet. I sat there, holding Scarlet's hand, never letting go. I wish I was there when she fainted, but that questioned me. What could have done something so bad? Who had made something like this happen to her? Why wasn't I there? I should have been there, why? I put my head down on the bed and closed my eyes. After a long time seated like this it got uncomfortable. I moved my chair backwards a little and leaned back, not letting go of Scarlet's hand. After I sat like this, I felt my eyes droop, and become heavy, I let sleep take over quickly. I woke to a high scream, I jumped up but got tangled in a blanket, a nurse must have come. I untangled the blanket from around my legs and sat on the edge of the bed. I sat there, after a while I hesitantly wrapped my arms around her. She slumped against me and I ran my fingers over her hair, saying "shhh." Just trying to calm her. I could feel her tears dampening my shirt. I felt her move in my arms, signalling to me she was awake.
"Scarlet. It's okay, it was just a dream." I felt her jump in my arms. I must have frightened her, and I let my arms soften on her, making sure I wasn't suffocating her.
"I was awake. Tyler, and Gabe were here. They were here, then they disappeared and I could hear voices, then you came." Her voice came out muffled, one because her face was in my shirt, two because she must be frightened from whatever her dream was about.
"Listen, I've been here ever since you came here. No one but me has been here, with exception of the doctors and nurse. Gabe and Ty haven't been here. I was asleep, and you started screaming. I came up here to wake you up." She turned then, and I saw her face. The colour was coming back, yet her eyes were tear stained, and bloodshot. She turned back, and looked confused at what was going on, then again so was I.

I woke up to the hospital room once again. I was actually getting quite annoyed from this. I looked around the room and noticed that I definitely wasn't alone. Two heads were placed beside me. To my left, the familiar curls of Trent, the other the shiny black hair of Tyler, and curled in a small ball, which I laughed silently at the sight because of how small he looked, was Gabriel. I smiled, and sat up, trying not to wake anyone. I slipped off the side of the bed, and walked out of the room without anyone noticing. In my head all I could think of was 'I am a ninja'.
