The Chaldea Security Organization. A laboratory-observatory that recruits talented scientists and magi for the purpose of observing both the magical and scientific aspects of the world. They only have a single goal:

"To preserve the reign of the Human Order, above all else."

Chaldea was founded with the purpose of preventing the 'certain extinction' of the human race. It may be a research and observation organization, yet the internal management is more befitting of a military organization. Formerly, they were able to confirm the persistence of human civilization for up to a century into the future. But now...

In the beginning days of the year 2016...

"The SHIVA Lens has detected an abnormality!"

"Coordinates confirmed!"

"Abnormal value rising!"

"LAPLACE is getting a read on the situation!"

"Hurry!"

The organization are now encountering difficulties on it and are currently searching for the reason why this had happened. The staff's being super serious, the screens on the computers are showing a lot of numbers and letters, and people are running from one side to the other. Most of them were already panicking as a matter of fact. To sum it all up, it was massive chaos in the control room of the facility.

Suddenly, the Director's personal assistant yelled to gain everyone's attention as he pointed to the globe-shaped machine in the middle of the room, "Everyone, look at CHALDEAS' condition!"

The organization's Director immediately glanced at CHALDEAS with her eyes widened upon hearing what her assistant's words. She realized that the light in the globe was slowly vanishing, "The light..."

The chief engineer of Chaldea then gazed at the machine and boldly said, "CHALDEAS was created from a reproduction of Earth's soul. If the light of that civilization is extinguished..."

The Director looked back at her assistant and ordered, "Gather humans who are Master potentials right now! We'll move from Rayshift experiments to actual use!"

"S-Sure thing!" the assistant replied, leaving the room in a flash. After that, Director stared back at CHALDEAS as she grind her teeth in stress, her hands holding her chin up to think of what to do to avoid the upcoming turmoil. With a certain plan in mind, she nodded and whispered,

"Unless we regain the light of CHALDEAS, humanity has no future."
