Chapter 2: The Senpai and the Kouhai

As the machine was about to summon Raimi's soon-to-be Servant, Anthony shouted at a sudden moment,

"JUST GET OUT OF THERE BEFORE YOU GET KILLED!"

"WHAT?!" Raimi reacted, frightened of the situation.

Shakespeare was scared too, "Master..!"

Bewildered and panicked, Raimi attempted to run for the exit as Anthony had demanded... However, a bright light came into view, causing her to cover her both of her eyes and stopping her from escaping. And before she could even knew it, a short but strong spark suddenly appeared and stroked her painfully.

Raimi screamed, "Ahhh!!!!"

"RAIMI!!!" Anthony cried, with a mix of shock, worry and fear.

...And that's the last thing Raimi have heard before she felt herself falling to the ground as everything turned black.

Meanwhile...

During the same time the three went to the summoning chamber, a lavender-haired girl with glasses, who is a clerk of Chaldea, is currently hanging out by herself in the hallway with a tablet on her hands, sitting near one of the hallway's large windows.

As of now, the girl's staring at the cloudy sky from the huge window next to her, her eyes filled with curiosity. She've stayed in the facility for a few years, yet she hasn't got the chance to go outside and witness the real sky above, not even once. Although it may be impossible to see it on person, looking at the beautiful blue sky is one of the many dreams of the female...

...And her name is Mash Kyrielight.

Mash had tried glancing from the facility's windows for a couple of times now, though the only thing she sees were nothing but a sky full of clouds with strong winds surrounding it, unfortunately.

"Hm..." she silently thought, "I wonder, when will I be able to go outside and the see the sky with my own two eyes?"

With her mind deeply thinking, she continued to gaze at the cloudy background in front of her with a slice of achieving one of her dreams...

...That is, until her little and cute pet called out to her, "Fou! Fou!"

"Oh?" Mash faced towards her pet in response, "What is it Fou?"

"Fou!" Fou spoke before running away to a certain direction. Thinking that the creature may have something to show her, the clerk stood up and followed the squirrel-like creature, not noticing that she left her tablet behind.

Pausing to where the creature had stopped, Mash took a glimpse of a male peacefully sleeping on the ground. He has a dark shaved head and an outfit similar to the ones that the staff gave to the 48 Master candidates that the organization had recruited earlier. He seemed to be around the same age as the young female too!

The girl went near to observe at a slow pace as Fou gently licked the boy's cheeks in curiosity. Moments later, the boy woke up and gazed at the other, promptly sitting down in shock and asking, "Who are you?"

"Let's see," Mash crossed her arms and stared down, replying, "Not someone whose name is worth mentioning or something..."

The lad tilted his head, "Huh?"

"I mean, I have a name. I don't often have the chance to say it however, which means I don't get to make an impressive self-introduction," Mash added.
