With Raimi falling down onto the floor and Mash running up to her to make an apology, Anthony constantly blinked his eyes after attempting to observe the clerk's appearance, "M-Mash?"

The lavender-haired female opened her mouth in surprise, "Anthony?"

After reaching up to Mash through the corridor, Jei took a glimpse of the Director's assistant and greeted, "Oh, fancy seeing you here at this time, Anthony!"

"J-Jei?!" Anthony exclaimed, "What are you doing here with Ms. Kyrielight?"

"Going to the briefing, obviously," Leff then interrupted.

Anthony moved a step away upon seeing the tall man, "P-Professor Leff!"

Figuring what's going on, each and every person in the hallway looked at each other with mixed reactions of bewilderment and curiosity. Later on, Raimi slowly stood up and fixed herself, whispering, "Well, this is awkward..."

In the present...

{*~Anthony's Point of View~*}

Oh great, it seems like tables have turned against me... And therefore, it became difficult for me to handle the whole event as of now.

William wants to hide inside my bag due to obvious reasons, Raimi almost got herself in danger recently, Andersen is quite the tough cookie for the three of us, and now Mash, Jei, and Professor Leff popped up out of nowhere!

Does this day get any worse than this?!

Putting a hand on my face in response to Raimi's reaction to the current scene, I shook my head and stated, "Professor, I could explain-"

"No need, Anthony," Leff answered with a wave of his hand, "I somehow understand what's happening right now."

I furrowed my eyebrows, "Somehow?"

He nodded in return, "Yes, somehow," the professor adjusted his green hat before continuing his statement, "Nonetheless, shall we move on to the control room for now?"

"Well, I guess we should..." I let out a sigh and announced, "Alright, professor, if you say so."

"Good," Leff replied, promptly leading the nearest route to the control room.

As a moment had passed, someone then approached me with a pat on the shoulder. Turning to see who it is, I revealed that it was Jei, whispering to my ear, "He seems like a nice guy, but he is giving me the creeps whenever he's around..."

I folded my arms and agreed, "I know, right?" Recalling a certain memory, I questioned him in suspicion, "Also, how come you're with Mash upon running through the corridor?"

"U-Uh," the male candidate looked away and rubbed his neck, "L-Let's talk regarding that while we're on our way to the briefing, Anthony."

...Keeping it a secret for now, huh? Hmph, hopefully it's not something I should worry about, since Mash is one of the many people I care a lot, you know?

"Oh?" I showed a more cautious look on my features, which caused Jei to nervously laugh.

Meanwhile, Raimi went near the two of us and placed her arms around us each, saying, "Now, now, you guys. You heard what the professor stated, right?" shortly after, she removed both of her arms from our shoulders and added, "So, let's keep going!"
