It's been a month. A lot can happen in a month. Dad and Cecile are back together, Caitlin came back - she took the vial we had given her, and Wally has been protecting the city with Cisco the best he can.
The news is awash with wondering where you are, and Officer Singh had started to get suspicious- dad had mentioned that you were terribly ill, but dad can't keep that lie up much longer. Sooner or later people will connect the dots, but I'll try to cover up the tracks to the best of my ability.

Kally has taken to sleeping on your side of the bed, it's nice to have some company- even if she's just a kitten.
It seems too quiet without you here, but every now and then dad stops by.
Felicity and Oliver are in town, they wanted to help with controlling the villains.

Oliver asked where you were, and I had told him what happened. For some reason, he excused himself, but I'm still not sure why.

Caitlin and Cisco have been working with Tracy, they think that they finally reversed the polarity on the speed force gun, but I'm not sure if it will work.

Lately, I've been visiting the library. I found a few comic books- Marvel comics, that are fairly interesting. I started with Captain America, and I'm finally getting around to finishing the stash that I borrowed.
During one of my frequent visits to the library, I found some comics on Kara's cousin- Superman. It was kind of creepy, because everyone knows his story, but these books were personal, they contained vivid aspects of his life. After partially flipping through one, I put it down. I had been looking through the comics section, and there was one that caught my eye.

Now, this is where I should have set the comic book down and ignored it. Burned it even, but of course I was curious so I picked the comic book up. The title had DC Comics in print near the right corner of the book. As I scanned the faded pages, I found a bolded superhero name- THE FLASH.

Now, of course I had to read the rest of the story, so I opened the book and found your life story- mine included. I picked up every copy of the comics that I could, up until the latest edition: Finish line: "What will come next for the scarlet speedster?"

I'd be lying if I said that I thought that I had gone insane, but Barry these comics had every detail of your life in the books!
I finished the comic books in three days, the last ending with you going into the speed force.

Do you know how weird it is to read about yourself? I read about us kissing when I had been with Eddie- when you went back in time and rearranged the timeline to stop that tsunami Weather Wizard made that never happened. And reading about flashpoint- that was really awkward, because how could someone get those details without having been you?

You're an amazing artist, don't get me wrong, but you wouldn't make comic books about your own identity as Barry and the Flash. It'd just  blow your cover.

Maybe I'm just curious as to if these comics will get updated soon, but they help. As odd as that sounds, they help me feel like you're still here. I tried having Cisco vibe you the other day. He said he felt a connection, but I didn't get an answer from you. It was like there was a connection error on your end, at least that's what Caitlin had assumed.

I forgot to mention that Caitlin and Julian are dating, finally. Cait is finally happy after what happened with Ronnie. She's smiling more, and Cisco's happy he has his best friend back.

As for me, I just wish you were here.
