Too Much to Lose

2. Desperately In love

     Rosette and I plan everything after my proposal and we are going to hold a party for the announcement of our wedding. I am so happy to see Rosette now because I’ve never seen her energy like this before. We talked about how her wedding gown will look like, what colour of the motif would be. Planning your own wedding brought you a different feeling like excitement, nervous, happy and also a feeling of being scared, again.

     Alex is staring at me, he look proud. I walk toward him and make cheers. “This night will never happen not because of you and your freaking advice buddy.” I look around the hall where the announcement party were held.

     “I told you dude, you and Rosette are ready.” He tapped my shoulder and gave me a wink then in a second he disappeared into the crowd. “Good ass buddy.” I whisper.

After talking with our guest I search for Rosette. I haven’t seen her since we announced about the wedding. This night is for us, we invite our family, friends and co-workers in our office to witness and to tell them the news. After a minute of searching into the crowd at last I found her.

She’s talking on the phone and I waited ‘till she finished the call. She looked so worried that makes me wanted to reach for her then hug her tight.

“Anything wrong, babe? You look worried.” I brush her hair with my finger then pull her into my body. I could feel the tense with her. “It is okay babe, tell me what’s wrong.” I push her gently while I still holding her shoulder.

“Actually honey there’s nothing wrong but there is an emergency meeting that our company will hold at Pakistan. New model of cars will be presented tomorrow night and another launching will be on the 3rd day. I may be away in a few days honey.” I want to reached her that time and tell her that I’m going with her but there are so many things that I have to fixed and arrange first before our wedding. It is good that if she came back all stuff is settled and she’s the only missing piece in the puzzle then everything will be complete.

“Babe there is nothing wrong about it, don’t be sad like that. I know how much you value your job and I wish that it would not take you that long for that launching aren’t you?” Part of me turn out to be sad but half rise up because I am proud of her. She’s a work dedicated lady but she knows how to separate her time for her family and work. A smile lit to her face, I could see the hope in her eyes.

“Honey thank you so much. I promise you that I will return as soon as I can.” She gave me a hug that I will remember for the days that she will be away from me.

“Can you come with me ‘till airport because I want to be with you until the day I leave and I want to see you again on the day of my arrival.” I smile. “Babe you don’t need to ask that because I will do it.” I hold her hands. “But stop thinking about it right now, we still have our party going.” She look back and watch as the people we invite are enjoying themselves with others company. I escort her back in the hall.

That night is my most treasured moment with her.

I am the happiest guy living on earth right now. I am proud of her, all my life I’ve never been happy like this thanks to Rosette.

I will never get tired of loving her because she deserved it. Even the little piece of my heart is praising her. I am happy to be her boy friend and I’m so proud that she’s my girl friend.

     She’s going to be late. I knocked to her bathroom door. “Honey don’t take too long, I know you don’t want to miss your flight.” I sat at the chair across her door while looking at her pictures on the wall of her room. I designed this room for her because she believed that I know exactly what she likes. I can’t stop smiling while remembering that day when she hammered me at my legs because I pissed her off. I am not expecting that she could actually do that. She’s a brave and a humble and honest girl I grew to love with.

Finally the door opened and Rosette standing in front of me, just perfectly gorgeous.

Her hands are on her coat. “Come on honey.” She smiled. I stand then open the door for her. She braced her arms around mine.

     At the airport, Rosette can’t stop crying. She looked like a child. I joke to her. “No boy babe, okay?” she nodded. “That’s good, if I found out that someone has a bad intention to you I’m going to fly going to Pakistan and break the neck of that ass, understand?” she smile. I know that my joke has a big effect to her. “I love you babe, come home as soon as possible.” I hug her.

“I will for you honey. I’m going to miss you so bad. Don’t forget to eat on time. If I found out that you skipped it I am the one who’s going to fly back here to break your neck.”

The time has come.

She has to leave.

I will miss her.

She hugged and kissed me. “I love you honey with all my heart and soul. Promise me you will visit mom and dad, okay?” Kiss me to them.

“I love you too babe, don’t forget my reminders. I will wait for you babe, I will be here. If anything goes wrong just text me or call me and I will go there to help you, got it?”

“Yes, I will.” She kissed me one more time. “I will always love you.” Then she starts to walk then after a second she was gone.

Yes she may be gone for a days but she is always here in my heart that I could bring wherever I go.

She is my day and night.

She is my bed and blanket.

And.

She is my weakness and my strength.
