When I woke up I first noticed the throbbing pain in my head. Then my neck. It felt as if I was still half asleep. I didn't want to get up, I didn't want to move. I notice I am lying on the floor. Its carpeted, but the carpet is more rough then soft. I manage to roll over and I groan slightly.

Where am I?

Suddenly something grabs my feet and I then realize I am being dragged. My eyes slowly open and close again because of the sensitivity to the light. I blink rapidly a couple of times until my stinging stops. I am in a building of some sort. There are candles lit illuminating the hallways on chandeliers and wall light posts. The walls are painted in a color that is a mixture of light gold and tan.

Am I in a daze?

Eventually the colors start to swirl together in a big blur. I close my eyes again, and then open and everything is back to normal. I start to move a bit and the grip on my ankle is tightened. I feel their hands start to bruise my skin. What is this place? What happened to me? Memories start to flood back instantly. All that happened in that alley. Did they kidnapped me?

Another person comes over and grabs me by the arms and pulls me up to get me on my feet. As we turn a corner I see a big opened door at the end of the hallway. I start to dig my feet into the ground. They pull hard squeezing my arms harder moving me forward as if I am doing nothing to stop them.

"Where am I going?" I ask in a timid voice.

No reply. As I am dragged through the open doors I see a row of kids on their knees, their backs towards me. I shiver at the sight.

"If any of you move, I will break your spine." I hear a voice say behind me as I am shoved to the ground on my knees at the end of the line. I tense up. I then look up a bit to see what is going on. I see a girl start to walk up, I can't see her face but her clothes look stunning. She is wearing a silk like golden dress that fits her snuggly and goes to her ankles with a slit up the side. She is wearing beautiful jewels around her neck and around her wrists that keep catching my eye.

She walks over to the girl on the other side of the line. I try not to tilt my head but I slightly look over to see what she is doing. I watch her take the kids face in her hands gently then she all of sudden attacks him. I hear him yell and scream for us to help, but nobody moves a muscle. I can't help but watch what plays out before me. I think... She's biting him.

Like I was bitten. I notice my wound had stopped bleeding as much. My head is throbbing from the pain and I feel almost faint. The yelling starts to die down, and I feel a pang of guilt and sadness wash over me.

He's dead...

The girl then tosses aside the boy when she is through with him and goes onto the next. I feel my stomach twist into knots. I'm going to die. I hear the next girl scream in agony and the next then the next. I then in the corner of my eye see somebody try to run away. The girl then stops what she is doing and watches them. Then as if by some sort of magic I hear a loud crunch and they bend their back in ways I didn't know was possible and let out a scream that sends shivers up my spine. Where am I? This must be some sort of nightmare.

She moves onto the next as if nothing had happened. I glance over at her. She has blonde hair, which is all I could tell. I looked away quickly when she was about to look my way. She kept getting closer and closer. I couldn't tell who the kids around me were. It was dark and the only bright light came from the doorway, so everybody's faces were dark.

Is Tania in here? Is she dead?

No...

She was down to three people. The girl next to me gasped. My breathing became uneven and jumpy. My heart was pounding. My stomach felt like it had tied in a knot. No... I can't die now. Not like this. I almost felt the tears coming; I held them back as much as I could. All of a sudden she grabbed the girl next to me and she gasped louder. I looked up at her quickly and realized it was Miranda. I stared her straight in the eyes. Tears were streaming down her face.
