Chapter forty-three: A Disaster
Dahyun's POV
I looked at myself in the mirror..It was really weird of me when I didn't almost slept last night thinking of how the dress will look on me
I came back to my senses when I heard someone knock on my door
"Yah! Dahyunnie your date is here"-I heard Chanyeol said
I took a deep breath as I straightened my dress
I went downstairs where I saw Taehyung waiting for me while wearing a tuxedo
He looked at me blankly not really knowing what he was thinking
"D-do I look different? Do I l-look horrible?"-I sluttered but he didn't answered and still,staring at me
"Aishh...I know I look like a fool,I shouldn't had wore this dress,and all this make up"-I said disappointedly and looked down
"W-what? No it's not like that.."-He said as he lifted my chin up
"It's just-- You look so..You look so perfect,that's all"-He said as he smiled at me sweetly
I automatically smiled at what he said
"Really..?"-I asked again and he nodded immediately while giving me a cheesy smile
"Aishh..I was nervous as hell"-I mumbled as I pinched his nose
"Well don't be,You look perfect no matter what you wear"-He said that made me blush a bit
"Whatever,Let's go we'll be late"
He reached down and intertwined his hands with mine while giving me his rectangular smile
I playfully rolled my eyes and pulled him outside the house where I saw a car
"Guess who got a car?"-He spoke and showed me the car keys
I just smiled at him as he opened the door for me
He started the engine.
"Make sure to drive safe,This is my first time seeing you drive"-I nervously said and intertwined my hands with his
"Don't be nervous,I'll be careful"-He said as he kissed my hand
Luckily we arrived at the destination safety
He took my hand as we both entered the place
Strangely some of the students stared at us
"Why are they starring at us?"-I whispered to Taehyung
"Don't mind them and just meet up with the others"
We walked through the crowd with my head low
"They both looked so perfect"
"They are really a perfect match"
"I envy them so much"
I heard some students whispered that made me smile
"There they are!"-Jungkook cheered
"Finally we've been waiting for you two"-Jin said and sigh in relief
We all took some pictures and did some funny poses
We all had fun fooling around
Suddenly the MC spoke
"Now it's time to crown the prom king and queen! Shall we?"-She spoke and all of us cheered
"Now..The prom king this year will be....??"
