"Come on jack say something to me!..." Moana tried to keep Jacks injury from bleeding more. His eyes were beginning to shut. "No!...nonono...please stay awake!"
She was scared, of he closed his eyes would they ever open again? Today wasn't suppose to happen like this, It was suppose to the the best day of their lives.
Now the ring around her finger was covered in blood. She didn't care, it was expensive and jack worked his butt off to get it but all she wanted was him to keep breathing.

~an hour before~

"Jack where are you taking me?" Moana was being pushed around by Jack who had her blind folded. He chuckles "you'll see"
The blind fold started to slip off her face, but she kept her eyes closed. They came to a stop.
"Alright now you can look." Says Jack as he removed the blind fold from her eyes.
She gasped and her eyes widen "this is the place where we had our first kiss! How did you find it!?"

"Long story" was the only explanation he could think of at the moment.
Of course that day they were lost and tried to find their way back to group of friends and it was summer time when they confessed their love to one another.

A single snowflake suddenly landed on jacks shoulder. Then many more followed after.
Moana's gazed up towards the sky "it's snowing..."

That's right, Moana has never seen snow before! Perfect! Jack said to himself and smiled.
In the past Moana was only able to visit durning the summer. Jack was her pen pal during their years in high school. She lived in Hawaii and jack lived in Pennsylvania. The letters were a bit awkward at first but in time they would become great friends. Then after she graduated she decided to surprise him with a visit...but that's a different story.

Jack gently took Moanas hand into his "Moana..."

She turned to face him "yes?"

He felt his cheeks staring to warm up "um...well..." he nervously scratched the back of his head "look we've seen each other for quite some time now and...before you leave for home again..." he take a small breath in "I don't want other guys out there wanting to take advantage of you...I won't be there near you and who knows you might fall for one."

She shakes her head with a smile "no way will that happen jack! I love you and your the only one for me" she wraps her arms around his middle.
"well you never know...your beautiful and what your going to do will make other guys attracted to you..." he pulls away from her hug "...I just want to make sure...I have to ask you one question though...that way I won't be worried."

She tilts her head in confusion "what question is that?"

He takes another deep breath in and out then gets down to one knee. Her eyes widen "oh my..."
His hand disappears into his pocket only to take out a small box.

The next few moments only lasted seconds. She screamed in joy and jumped on him with her arms wrapped around his neck. Luckily Jack was use to this so he was able to catch her and not fall.
"Yes yes!! I will!!" She shouted.

Someone was near by to watch this happy moment, but unfortunately he was there to make sure neither of them will leave this place...alive.

They started to walk back home when jack was suddenly hit on the back of the head.
"Jack!!" Moana quickly turned around to see who did it, but was met with an unfamiliar tall person. "W-who are you!?" She shouted and picked up a thick tree branch.
The tall man didn't answer, and started to approach her. Moana felt her hands shaking but that didn't stop her from swinging the branch at him. "Stay away!!"
He grunted and fell into his back.
"Now go away! Or else the next hit will make you go unconscious!!"

The man started to laugh.
"Wha?" She held the branch out i front of her. "What's so funny?"

Without warning the man disappeared into the darkness and reappeared behind her. "The names Pitch." He says before throwing a back hand to her cheek. The force made her fall backwards roll down the hill. Her back hit a tree which made her stop rolling.
Pitch kept up with her and had his weapon ready, but before he could do anything to harm her jack quickly swung the funny looking tree branch and made Pitch fall on top the ice of the frozen pond.
