Homecoming pt.2

Moana searched and searched for something to wear, Merida sat on the bed examining the dresses she laid out on her bed.  "Hm...I think I'll go with this baby blue dress....nah...I think the green one?" The girl twist her red curls then looked over to her no tired friend.

"I can't do this....." she leans against the wall and slides down.

"Are you saying my dresses aren't good enough for you?!"

Moana's eyes widen "n-no!! They're all beautiful!...it's just....this will be my first dance ever...and my only....what if it doesn't go well?" She started to groom her hair.
Marina smiled and sat next to her friend "oh Moana! It'll be fine! Besides Hiccup and I won't be far" she flexes her arm muscles "no one, now even jack will dare mess with you!"
Moana smiles "thanks Merida"

The next day before first hour started the intercom came on and announced the homecoming king and Queen. Of course Moana wasn't even near popular to be noticed and recognized...but some how Merida was able to make it on the list!
"Attention students! Our this years homecoming princess is....Merida! Congratulations!!"

Moana jumped on excitement for her friend "Congratulations Marina!!" She almost lifted her off the ground and the entire class applauded.
"Okay! Okay! Mo!! Stop! Your...going...to..." she was struggling to breath and Moana quickly noticed and let go. "I'm sorry Merida!!"

"And our homecoming prince will be...Hiro Hamada!!!"

Merida felt her cheeks lit up "what! I have to dance with him?!"
I giggled "that's right I forgot you have the homecoming royals have to face with each other after the crowning huh!"
Merida crosses her arms "he's so short! And he's suppose to be in middle school!...."
I poked her side "there's nothing wrong Merida! It's just a dance."

"Now for the big moment!...our this years homecoming queen issss....yes you guessed it! Elsa!!"

Merida rolled her eyes "ugg of course she's queen! No surprise there....I wonder who got to be homecoming king?" They both waited to hear who was their homecoming king but barely heard the name sense everyone was cheering for Elsa.

"And our this years homecoming King is.... Jack Frost!"

Moana hid her smile as she wrote on her bellwork.
"Hey Moana! Did you hear who's the homecoming king?"
Moana pretended not to the interested "mmhm" she hummed.
"Come on I know your happy!" She nudged her friend "I know you liky him!" She grinned.
Moana rolled her eyes "just because I accepted does not mean I like him. It's just his way of apologizing to me after losing my necklace."

"But Moana, weren't you the one who lost your grandmothers necklace in the first place?"

Moana suddenly got a text message from jack. Merida peeked over her shoulder and saw the name and gasped "you gave him your number!?"

"No...I gave him my kik....I don't have a phone."

"Why?"

"Over protective mother....besides my grades aren't that great compared to my little sister..."

Merida chuckled "your little sister is awesome!"

*jacks text*
What time do you think you'll be ready?

*moana's text*
For what? The game or the dance?

*jack*
....both?

Merida eyes widen "your also going to the football game!? And you didn't invite me or Hiccup!?" Merida felt a bit betrayed.
The brown curly head girl sighed and explained "my choir group performs the national anthem. Jack is on the team, I also need a ride home so he'll take me when the games over."
