once again the girl had to clean the halls, luckily Pitch had gone out to do whatever business. she didn't care just as long as he was gone to stop terrorizing her. after living here for quite sometime shes gotten use on how massive this place is. sense she's been here shes made everything less scary. the cleaning duties were hers and she brought light to every dark corner. the thing that made her happy was listening to the radio.

I've been hearing symphonies,
Before all I heard was silence...

her face lit up at the lyrics to this song, quickly sliding on the floor and turning up the volume, she went back to dusting the portraits in the halls of the manor. as the song echoed down the hall she began to hum along. the lyrics reminded her of her dear beloved.

A rhapsody for you and me,
And every melody is timeless,
Life was stringing me along,
Then you came and you cut me loose,
Was solo singing on my own,
Now I can't find the key without you,

the sweet memories brought pain...but she couldn't help it so she sang out loud

"And now your song is on repeat,
And I'm dancin' on to your heartbeat,
And when you're gone, I feel incomplete,
So if you want the truth,
I just wanna be part of your symphony,

twirling around and making her voice even louder. She wanted this place to disappear so she turned up the radio louder and made herself sing even louder.

"Will you hold me tight and not let go?,
Symphony,
Like a love song on the radio,
Will you hold me tight and not let go?"

she started pulling open the curtains to let in more sunlight, dust particles flying everywhere so she opened the windows. the winter breeze blew in but it all made her happy because the snow just reminded her of him.

"I'm sorry if it's all too much,
Every day you're here, I'm healing,
And I was runnin' out of luck,
I never thought I'd find this feeling,
'Cause I've been hearing symphonies,
Before all I heard was silence,
A rhapsody for you and me,
and every melody was timeless,

and now your song is on--" she suddenly turned around to go back to cleaning but then came face to face with a dark man. she gasped at the sight of him, his face with a motionless expression. In his hand he held the radio that continued to play the song, but then he shut it off. Moana waited to hear him yell or throw the radio out the window.

"how long have you been singing like this? do you do this every time I leave?" he says putting the radio on a near by table.

"y-yes...its something that makes me happy..."

"don't you think someone could hear you?" he asks putting his hands behind his back.

"you live in the middle of the forest...no one would dare come near this place." She say still leaning against the window, then looks over to the clock and sees its only 1 o'clock in the afternoon. "why are you back so early?" she suddenly felt him get closer and felt his cold hands brush her cheek. "Is my future wife happy that I'm back home early?"

the curly headed girl moved her face away from his touch "stop it..." and looked back out the window feeling sad again. Pitch chuckled and walked into his study. after a while of staring out the window she gathered her courage to ask what she always wanted.

"Please...I just want to see the forest...I promise I won't go near the town!" This was the first time she asked. Pitch stopped playing with his tools and looked over to the girl. "Alright, but you have to give me something of yours."

She felt a little happy...but what was it that he wanted from her? She doesn't own anything really..."alright..."

He opened a drawer and took out an metal object and placed it on the desk. The long curly haired girl picked them up "scissors?"
He grinned and she slammed them back onto the desk. "No"
