Karaoke

"Karaoke night! Wahoo!" Iko was so excited because everyone agreed, finally, to do a Karaoke night at a restaurant in Riuex.

"This is the place." Scarlet and Wolf had been to this restaurant before. They asked for a big both to fit all ten of them; Cinder, Kai, Scarlet, Wolf, Cress, Thorne, Winter, Jacin, Iko, and Kinney.

"Welcome to Karaoke Night! We are glad that you guys could come and we will start by taking volunteers."

Iko raised Scarlet's hand for her.

"Yes, the lovely red-headed girl in the back, what would you like to sing?"

"Iko!" Scarlet whisper-yelled.

"What was that?" The announcer asked.

"Um, I said, 'Demons' by Imagine Dragons." Scarlet was nervous but, there was no backing out now.

"Come on up! We will get the music ready!" He handed the microphone to Scarlet as soon as she got on stage.

"Ready?"

"Ready!"

Scarlet finished the song, and everything was silent. Everyone was staring at her with their mouth open.

"What?" Then, everyone started clapping, quiet and shocked at first, then boisterously loud.

Scarlet blushed as she made her way to her seat.

"Next!"

Everyone was still just staring at her.

"What, was I really that bad? I haven't sung for years." Scarlet was getting nervous until.

"'Bad'? You were fantastic!" Wolf was beaming ear to ear. Everyone around them was nodding vehemently in approval.

"I'll go." Cress spoke up.

We all looked at her in shock. Cress was going to get up and sing in front of a bunch of people.

"Anyone else wanna sing?" The announcer asked.

"I do!" Cress replied raising her hand.

"Come on up!"
