Chapter Six

"Hey grandma?" I asked her

"Yeah hun?" She asked while not looking away from her phone

"Do you mind if I head out tonight instead of tomorrow?" I asked her and she looked up with a puzzled look
"Sure is everything alright?" She asked

"Yeah everything is fine. It's Jack's birthday tomorrow and I told Jack that I'd be home tomorrow night but I want to surprise him" I said

"That's a great idea" kris said while proceeding to look at her phone once again

"Kendall are you okay if I skip out on your last show?" I asked with a sad face as we pulled up to the hotel

"Totally. Go surprise your man" she reached over Kylie to give me a hug

"I'll see you guys at home then" I said as I got out. They were heading to dinner so they continued after dropping me off. I got to my hotel room and packed my stuff and headed for the airport. Its now 9pm in London and we have just taken off so I should be back in LA at around 12 am.

Its now about 9 hours into the flight and I'm so ready to get off. I just got up for a nap and I texted Johnson to make sure Jack was at home and he said that they were out but he would be bringing Jack back to their place at like 1am ish so I'll be able to surprise him.

I finally land in LA it's 12:30am and I texted everyone back in London that I got home safely. I also told Johnson that I'd be at their house in like 20 minutes and he told me that he wouldn't be far behind me so I should hurry.

So I get to their house and I park around back so he can't see my car. I text Johnson that I'm here and he tells me that they aren't too far away. So I unlock the door with my key and I head up to Jacks bedroom where I leave the door slightly open and the light turned on. All of a sudden I here Jack and Johnson come through the door.

"Yo man I think someone's upstairs" I heard Jack say to Johnson

"What why?" Johnson asked

"Cause my light is on upstairs" jack pointed out

"Oh man go up there but be careful" Johnson said and I silently chuckled a bit. I could now hear Jack and I'm sitting on his bed waiting for him to open the door which he starts to but really slowly and I could hear him breathing heavily.

"Relax it's me" I chuckled and he opened up the rest of the door rather quickly

"Kennedy you're here" he yelled out and I ran and jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist.

"Happy birthday handsome" I said as I kissed his neck

"I've missed you so much" he said while pinning me against the wall while I was still in his arms and began kissing me.

"Whoa man save it for later" Johnson said as he barged in. Jack laid me down on the bed

"Were you in on this?" Jack asked while trying to catch his breath

"Of course. I'm Jack Johnson and Jack Johnson knows everything" he said which caused all to laugh

"I thought you weren't going to be back until tomorrow night" jack asked

"Well I couldn't miss your birthday" I said while I grabbed his cheeks giving him a kiss which made him smile

"Well I guess I'll leave you two alone goodnight" Johnson said as he walked out

"Night JJ thanks again" I yelled out

"Yeah night man" jack yelled out. He got undressed and put something to sleep in on and so did I.
