🛑NOT EDITED🛑
Side note... Kennedy's Birthday has already happened. Meaning she is Nineteen. It happened while she was in rehab. It's about to be hers and Jack's anniversary

3 months later...

I got to LAX and walked towards the sign that read Kardashian which was held up by a man in a full tuxedo. Out of all my family no one could show up and meet me in person after ninety days in rehab. Surprisingly I have ducked the paparazzi.

"Miss Kardashian?" The man spoke in a husky voice.

"Yeah that's me" I forced a smile and looked around making sure no one had seen me. It was pretty difficult seeing as the man was standing with a large sign with the most well known name plastered on the front.

"Alright hop in" he added as he pulled the door open when I noticed a faint pull on my sweater

"Kennedy" the low voice I quickly turned around to see a petite girl with a huge smile on her face. I forced a small smile.

"Hi" I replied

"Can I grab a quick photo?" She asked as she pulled her phone out.

Despite the fact that I was ultimately exhausted and just wanted to get home and nap, I couldn't think of anything else. I said yes. We quickly snapped the photo.

(I doubt this girl is reading this but if you are and want your photo taken down pm me!)

"Thank you so much" she cheesed "means a lot"

"No problem" I smiled. I walked back towards the car stepping into the car

"Oh and Kennedy?" She called back "you look good" she smiled "I'm proud of you we're all proud of you" she nodded

"Thank you" I added lightly "really. Thank you for that" and with that she nodded and walked away

The drive was long and quiet back to my moms place. I would go back to my place but I'm not sure if Jack listened or not and I'm truly not ready for confrontation. As the car pulled up to my mom's place there was no car to be seen. Like I understand that I hurt a lot of people but no one showing up to welcome me home was a bit much. Right?

"Thanks" I waved as I carried my bag towards the door and watched as the man pulled out of the driveway. I flung the door open to be greeted by a dark empty house. "Mom" I yelled out. No response. I set my bags down as I walked towards the kitchen. Grabbed a water bottle and made my way to the backyard

"Fucking no good family" I mumbled as I pulled the door open "fucking boyfriend" I bit my lip and looked back and closed the door "fucking ex boyfriend" I blinked away a few tears and finally looked out and take a step further into the backyard.

"WELCOME HOME KENNEDY! AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY" A crowd yelled as I jumped back a few steps. The tears I had been blinking away began falling. They remembered. They didn't forget me. They cared. Something I questioned these last few months.
