Part 21

Two weeks had past since Leo had been taken from his crib and the pack haven't stopped looking for Leo where as izzy hardly ever slept or ate since she was mostly out hunting mutts for information on to who had taken her son and why. Jeremy had kept a close eye on izzy and even he knew this wouldn't end well but of course izzy would never listen to his warnings even if he was trying to help her but nick was no help as well since he was with the pack looking for any clues to where Leo could be but no one knew who or why someone would take a newborn baby. Izzy walked back into the house covered in blood and Jeremy stood at the stairs. "Izzy?! This must stop! You can't kill every mutt that you think might have Leo!? Look at what your doing to yourself! Your not sleeping nor eating and don't even think I didn't know about the drinking as you can't keep doing this to yourself! What happens when we find Leo and your to ill to look after him!" Jeremy said in a mix tone between alpha and father before izzy pushed past him. "This is all my fault! I should have a protected him! I should have seen this coming!" Izzy said as Jeremy sighs before walking up to her then hugs her tightly. "Izzy this isn't your fault as you didn't know and how do you think nick is feeling? Go see him as he needs you as much as you need him" Jeremy said as izzy nods before she went up to see nick but he wasn't there then she felt arms wrap around her so she turned around to see Pete and he held her close knowing she was going to break down and izzy did just that as she cried into his chest while Pete strokes her hair and tried to clam her. "Hey hey shh we will find him izzy just have faith in yourself and the pack, it won't be long before we find who has him"  izzy cried even more as Pete laid her down on the bed and laid beside her while holding her close until she was asleep but then nick walked in so Pete put his finger on his lip to tell nick to be quiet before he slowly got up then walked to nick. "Thanks Pete, you truly are a great friend" Pete nods and he hugged nick then smiled as nick walked over to izzy and pulled the covers over her. "Nick? You know she thinks it's her fault, we need to be here for her and yourself" nick looked at izzy and sighs before looking at Pete. "This isn't her fault and thanks Pete...I have to go away, will you look after her until I get back?" Nick said as Pete looked shocked at him before he nods. "You can't leave her when she needs you the most nick as it isn't right or fair on her"  Pete couldn't believe nick was just leaving at a time like this. "It's a lead to finding our son Pete so I must go"  nick spoke as he grabbed a suit case then left the room while Jeremy took nick to the airport but back at the house izzy had woken up and was kicking off big time after being told nick had left.
