Bella P.O.V:

I walked into my local bar which I've been well known at all my life. My Dad used to drink here every weekend with all his friends. I'm instantly greeted with the same homely feeling as always.

"Jimmy!"

I wave over at the old barman and a smile spreads across my face but soon turns into a frown as he waves back unsurely.

I approach the bar, seeing the regulars as I pass by them, none of them greeting me, yet still eyeing me suspiciously. What the fuck?

"Hi there! What can I get you Miss?"

Jimmy smiles professionally at me. Seriously?

"Jimmy. It's me."

His frown deepens and I sigh deeply in return.

"Oh c'mon, you're not that old! Bella. Bella Narco."

I say pointing to my face dramatically. His face instantly falls and softens.

"Oh my! Jesus you've changed Bella! Come here!"

He leans over the bar and engulfs me in a warm hug. Exactly what I need. Jimmy was a good friend of my Dads and always looks out for me, he's like an Uncle to me.

"That means your, what, 18 now?"

"Damn straight, and I need a drink."

"Coming right up little lady! Oh, well, I guess you need a new nickname."

"No! I love that nickname! Plus I'm still short so still little."

I chuckle out.

"Ah! Alright then what can I get you little lady?"

"Vodka and Coke please."

I beam.

"Be right back! Just gotta do these few customer first!"

"Sure thing old man."

He waves me off and I smile as he starts on the other customers first.

I turn away from the bar and scan the room, seeing all the regulars starting to recognise me so I decide to catch up with a few of them before Jimmy calls me over to get my drink. Thanking him, I turn to go back to my conversations, but not before my drink ends up all over my white top, making it see through and stained. Fabulous.

"What the fuck?!"

"Shit! I'm sorry! Here let me help."

I look up at the man as he takes the now empty glass from my hand.

"Wait, Zak?"

He looks at me and frowns.

Why doesn't anyone recognise me?

"Zak Tyfer? It's me! Bella! Lilly's best friend?!"

His face drops in awe and then breaks into a smile.

"Holy shit no way!"

He pulls me into a tight hug as he arms go around my waist and he twirls us around. I chuckle as he puts me down.

"You're back?! You've changed! Your hair, your style, your-uh-body."

He coughs, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yeah, things change in 2 years."

I say, playfully punching his chest.

Zak Tyfer is the older brother of my best friend from school, Lily.

I used to have the biggest crush on him, but I mean, how could I not? Those, piercing blue eyes, that jet black hair, that amazing body, not to mention hes a complete ladies man. Hes only got better as well.

"Sooo...how have you been Bellaroo?"

I smile at the silly nickname thats stayed.

"I've been okay, glad to be back... I think."

"You think?"

He questions inquisitively.

"Yeah, long story that doesn't matter at the moment! How have you been anyway Mr. Tyfer?"

"Ah, things are good. Recently single."

"You came to your senses then."

I scoffed. Zak used to be with Bethany Smith. Biggest mistake. Shes poison.

"Yeah, I just wish I took your advice sooner. Shes had my child."

My jaw drops and I'm lost for words.

"I'm kidding."

I swat his chest playfully.

"So not funny asshole!"

He chuckles deeply.

"So, have you missed me?"

He winks and hits me with his killer smirk. Oh Lord.

"Nah. Don't even remember you."

I mirror his smirk. He blows air through his nose and we just stare at each other for a few seconds before he clears his throat.

"Anyway, can I get you another drink? Considering I threw yours all over you."

He gestures down to my now see through top which I had forgotten about.

"Oh shit! Here, take this."

He strips of his red flannel shirt, leaving him in just a white t-shirt making him look even more delicious as his lean body flexes under it.

"Thanks."

I mumble out as I blush.

"No problem. So how about that drink?"

Oh, no, that's okay, I should go, I've got a long day ahead of me tomorrow anyway."

"okay, sure, I'll see you around then I guess. Keep the shirt."

He smiles sweetly but sadly at the same time.

"Well why don't I give you my number so I can return it?"

His face brightens immediately. I type my number in his phone and say goodbye, leaning in and kissing his cheek.

"Later, beautiful."

"I'll text you."

He nods as I leave, waving a goodbye to Jimmy and a few others and head me to prepare for the conversation tomorrow.
