It was currently 12.57 am on Saturday and I had non stop been talking to Michael since the night before.
Michael: You were still up for All Time Low right?
Shit, I completely forgot about that.
Me: Hell yeah! I can't wait
Michael: Awesome! I'll pick you up at 12? I hope you don't mind that I've booked a room overnight because I really don't want to drive back at 12 at night
I thought about it before replying. That was quite strange considering I didn't really know who he was. Although we had talked a few times and quite a lot tonight, I still felt like him and I were complete strangers living in opposite worlds.
Michael: You don't have to, I mean I can drive back straight away if you wanted to or needed. Like I don't mind. Whatever you want to do goes
Seeing that he was genuinely concerned about how comfortable I was made me realise that I shouldn't be scared to spend the night with him.
Me: Yeah that's alright. I don't mind staying the night
Him and I continued to talk until 1.30 am, which was when the two of us finally decided to call it a night so we actually got up in time to get to the heart of Sydney before the concert.
Like most nights, I couldn't sleep so as I usually did, I went down to the beach. This was the latest I had come out in the past few weeks.
I didn't expect to see him here, but he was. Why was I so scared to talk to him?
"Shut up, Calum," he yelled. I couldn't see him, only the silhouette of him talking on the phone. "I don't like her, you don't know me."
Was this about Calum as in Calum Hood? Did that confirm that he was my age?
"Yes, alright. Whatever." He took a seat a metre from the shore. I don't think he knew I was here yet as he hadn't turned towards my direction. "Yes, she found the flowers. Dude, I don't think she's here."
I ducked behind the bin at the top of the sand as he looked around.
"No she's not here," he spoke more quietly than the last time. "Thanks for helping me with this. She hasn't shown any signs of knowing it's me but I'm nearly a hundred percent sure it's her."
So he knew who I was?
I wish I could match his voice to a face but as much as I tried, I struggled to find out.
He continued to talk on the phone to Calum. I knew more than one Calum so if I could find out which one it was, I might have a chance to find out who this mysterious guy was.
I hadn't even realised that he had stood up until he was looking directly at me. Though he was standing a long way away from me, in the quietness of the night, I heard him mumble a profanity.
My eyes had just began adjusting to the illuminating glow of his face when he turned around walked off.
As much as I wanted to chase after him and demand he tell me who he is, I decided to retreat back to my house so I could get the slightest bit of the sleep before the sun came up.
As I walked along the lonely road, I started to itch all over, knowing that I needed to confront him.

My alarm began blaring Thnks Fr Th Mmrs by Fall Out Boy, signalling that it was time to get up. I checked the clock, seeing that it was 9.00 am on the dot.
I got up straight away and had a shower before doing anything else.
When everything happened with Dad, Mum didn't want the biggest room to stay in as it constantly reminded her of him, so her and I changed rooms. Now, I've got the room with the bathroom which made me feel a lot better.
