"What The Heck! SPENCER ROSE MCGUIRE!!!! Why would you break up with MATTHEW?!?!!!! He is sooooo amazing in more ways then just his looks, and you two are P-E-R-F-E-C-T for each other! Unless he is being clingy and possesive again, isn't he?" Abby rambked on and on about our relationship for the first half of class, until Mr. Mayberry yelled at her, again, after about 5 other times.
"Dude, calm down. Yes he is getting possesive but so what? He is just a jerky guy who I need a break from. For good." And to make the point clear, I sent her a glare announcing the conversation was over. But when I turned around, I was face to chest, with a familiar emerald green eyed boy. And actually seeing him like this I had to admit, boy was cute. Auburn tousled hair, deep emerald green eyes, at least 6'5 and he was slightly built, like just from basic excercising. He was all around perfectly cute, and if it wasnt for Matthew, I would have let him know it, too. But alas, Matthews gotta mess it all up.
"Sorry..." Was all I mumbled, but he seemed interested in conversing with me.
"Oh no problem, I'm Lucas, by the way, and you may have noticed but I'm the one who saved you from getting crushed by that man-whore earlier. Are you okay?" I gotta give him props, he did seem genuinely concerned for my well being. And he had a nice voice, so of course I would keep talking with him.
"Spencer, but you can call me Spence, and yes I'm fine, thank you. So whats your next class, Lucas?" Dang, so much for casual. I just sound like a freaking stalker. But he didn't seem to notice.
"Oh I have athletics with Coach Shelia, what about you? And please call me Luke." He smiled a charismatic handsome smile that would have stopped traffic.
"Seriously? I do too! This is Abigail, but call her Abby. Would you like to walk with us?" Asking him with a hint of a flirtatious smile on my face. To hell with Matthew, I want a guy like Luke.
"I'd love too." He smirked. "Or do you not wanna be seen with the class nerd?" His tone was playful, thinking a blonde haired blue eyed, barbie doll, wouldnt wanna actually sit down and do trig with him. I love math, I am a huge nerd with school, but everyone thinks that cheerleaders are supposed to be perfect, all a's so I havent been discovered yet.
"Aww, afriad I would lower your I.Q. level? Don't tell anyone," I mockingly looked around and whispered dramatically. "But I love nerdyness, I am a huge trig fanatic, and, I LOVE TO READ!" I shout at the last second to catch him off gaurd. It clearly worked because he jumped at least 3 feet back.
"Nice one, Spence, but I can handle a nerdy peppy cheer-geek," He smiled and playfully bumped into me. Hearing a groan from Abby told me that our flirting was complete obvious, but Hey who cared, I like him and thats that.
And I will win him over.
Spencer Mcguire never loses.Abby and I waved to him as we entered the girls locker room, and stopped short when we saw a rather sparkly flyer, announcing that I shouldnt be cheer captain, and that Amanda Flynn should. Abby and I looked at each ohter, slowly nodded, and ripped the poster down together.
For Amanda's saftey, lets hope that was the only poster.
But we'll see.
