But did you not say
That you loved me before?
You told me on that
Summer night
The fireflies were glowing
The crickets chirping
Their coincidental
Lonely
Tune
And we lay out in the
Milky moonlight.
You said that you
Loved me
Right then and there.I didn't think you meant it
I was broken, being alive
How could you
Possibly
Mistake my
Self-hate
As hate for you?
I'm dead, my love
And I'm fine to be.
So when you said
You loved me
Did you not see me then?
Was I just a
Shadow
A horrifying glimpse?
If that's what you saw
Then surely
You can't say
It is I
You miss.- Him
