Because of what
I was?
You think I didn't know love
Because of what
Happened?
My childhood nights
Were filled with
Brutality
You'd think that I
Wouldn't know love
But you know
When you're left
Without something
Attaining it is quite
Profound.
I didn't leave because
I don't love you
I've said this before
I left because
I do.
I know
Love
Even after what I
Did.
I didn't want to hurt you
But apparently I did
And for that I am sorry
But I can't plead to the Fates.
I don't want you to join
Me
Because if you do
The world will be
Devoid of light
You'll never join me
Anyway
It's what I've been trying
To tell you
While I beg and cry
At the gates of Hades
You'd float
Up and
Up.
