Eight

I got up and turned my alarm off and got up to go to the bathroom. Then I got out and got changed into a white crop top, with a light blue jumper over it. And blue ripped jeans and white air force 1's. And I took my small white Micheal Kors bag and a gold watch

And got my Michael Kors bag:

And went downstairs.

'Good morning mum'

'Good morning sweetie' she says placing my breakfast on the table. I walk up to the seat, kiss her on the cheek. I had my breakfast, kissed my dad on his cheek and went inside the car.

My mum dropped me off at school and I walked up to Skylar and walk into class with her.

In 4th period I got a call from my mum, but I was in class so I couldn't answer it. But I had to, its my mum.

'Hey mum?' I whisper

'Can't this wait? I'm in a lesson!' I continue

She starts crying and I start to get worried

'What's wrong mum?'

'Y-our d-ad got h-it by a c-ar, and he isn't l-ooking that g-good.'

My heart begins to beat quickly.

'I'm on my way mum which hospital'

After I said hospital Skylar looked at me worried.

'Okay thanks mum stay safe, I'm coming.'

I whisper what's happened to my dad to Sky while tears were coming down my face.

She said that she will drive me there right now!

I put my hand up but the teacher was ignoring me.

'Sir I need to go so if you please answer me it will be good'

'Miss. Hastings please let me finish'

'NO I WILL NOT WAIT FOR YOU TO FINISH!'

I stand up and shout at him, my blood was once again boiling but for a different reason.

'I AM GETTING OUT THIS CLASSROOM RIGHT NOW!'

'Miss please sit down.'

I start making my way to the door.

'NO I WILL NOT, NOT WHILE MY DAD IS IN HOSPITAL ANYWAYS!'

I look at Skylar and she stands up coming towards me

'And where are you going?'

'Sorry but someone's dad is in hospital. And I'm taking her. Happy? Teachers really need to mind there own business' she sighs

I look at Grayson, I could see shock in his eyes.
I walk out the door with Sky by my side.

She drives me to the hospital my mum told me he was at. Skylar was trying to make me feel better. It was kind of working but also wasn't at the same time.

We get to the hospital and I get out and go to the receptionist

'Hi, do you know where Mr. Hastings room is?'

'Yes, its 486'

'Okay thank you'

I say walking away from her, and Skylar trying to keep up with my pace. We get to his room and I see mum crying outside his door. I walk up to her and hug her with tears in my eyes.

'How is he?' Skylar says, looking straight at my mum

'He's okay- ish. He has to have surgery, apparently when he hit the car something of it went inside him.

'Can we go see him?'

'Yes, but you have to be quick before they give him his medication'

'Okay thanks' I say running to the door and knocking on it.

I open the door and see my dad lying on the bed with those things up his nose that help him breathe. I walk next to him and see how peaceful he was. I start to cry. I walk closer and hold his hand, and I then get a grip back. He opens his eyes and sees me crying.

'I- it's going to be a-alright' He says giving a weak smile.

I hold his hand tightly, and my tears stopped and are replaced with laughter of what my dad said to me after. About 10 minutes later the nurses come in and kick me out to give him his medication.

I closed the door behind me and when I got out I could see Skylar has one of her arms around my mum and is trying to calm her down. I then look up from them and see Grayson standing there looking at me. He walks towards me and I run to him. I hug him tightly with my arms around his neck and bury my face in his shoulder, crying all over again. He wrapped his arms around my waist and whispered in my ear,

'I'm so sorry Luna, he's going to be alright' he says stroking my hair. I pull away seeing Ethan coming towards us with two cups of water, one for me and one for my mum.

'I'm sorry Luna about your dad'

'No it's okay, you guys had nothing to do with it!'

They give me a smile, I smile back.

I stayed there for the night, and apparently Grayson also stayed with me, Skylar said she had to go home for something that her family is doing and she can't back out.
