I was so confused of seeing him here. He is not welcome here or anywhere near our family. We walked towards us, my mum walked backwards.

'What's going on Luna?' Grayson says looking confused

'He's'

'He's, my step dad' Grayson takes a step back.

'Wait what?'

'Do I honestly have to explain it to you right now?'

'Uhhh yes!'

'Ugh, okay well. My dad left us when he figured out mum was pregnant with me, so my mum went out with this douche after a couple of months. And then they got married, but then they broke up and my mum found my dad'

'So?' He says looking more confused

'Grayson, he tried to have..' I couldn't even get the word out. So I carried on without it.

'But I screamed and my mum caught him and kicked him out, he likes wayyyyyy younger girls apparently'

Grayson's hands turned into a fist. I've never seen anyone care this much for me. He walked up to the old man and said

'Leave, now' with that scary voice of his. I ran to him holding his fist, trying to take it out of a fist. He didn't even look at me.

'I see you found someone. The same age as you' says my stepdad

'Yeah, can't say the same about you though.' I try to act brave, it was crumbling already.

'Well, I just came to say hi to your father. So would you excuse me.'

'No' I said, I'm not letting him anywhere near my mum or dad

'But I'm jus-'

'You heard her, she said no'

He looks at my mum

'Nice to finally see you sweet pea'

I take one step forwards

'You do not call my mum sweet pea anymore and never will'

'Glad to see your finally growing up' he gives me a smile, then looks at Grayson and walks away to the exit.

I loosen up and give Grayson a smile. Then he also loosens up, and gives a smile back.

I let go of his hand and walk back to my mum. She hugs me and thanks Grayson for not letting the douche come near her or my dad.

But I knew he will come around soon, he always does.

My mum went back and bought me a new set of clothes which was a grey cozy sweater, with light washed slightly ripped jeans with a few rings, I wore the shoes I did before

It was really cosy, especially the top.

She then left and came back with a pair of boy clothes giving them to Grayson. He thanked her but said he will not take it. My mum insisted so he took it and got back wearing a burgundy brown ish t-shirt with black trousers

He came out hot, basically.

He put his hands in his pockets and started walking towards us.

'I hope you like it, I didn't know what your style was' my mum says laughing

'No its fine! I actually really like this, thank you!' He smiles at her

'No problem! It's the least I can do! You made sure David didn't come near me or Joey, it's the least I owe you! Plus you stayed here with Lu'

He looks at me and I look down, blood rushing to my face. Again. God send help.

I go to the bathroom and when I come back I bump into Grayson filling up two cups of water

'Oh sorry'

'It's fine!' He laughed

I did the most stupidest thing ever, I kissed him. That's apparently how much I've been craving him. I pull away in shock of what I just did

'I'm sorry! I shouldn't have done that' I say walking away from him awkwardly. I then feel a tug at my wrist and he turns me around and kisses me. I was in shock, I wasn't expecting him to kiss me. But I obviously kiss him back.

We pull away and I bit my lip, I help him fill another cup of water and walked back to my mum.
