Thirty five

Luna's POV

I looked outside the window of the car, trying to calm myself down. I failed every now and then tears started coming out of my eyes. I held them in, but I couldn't anymore. I started crying so suddenly that it scared Sky.

'I'm s-so-rry' I cried out

'No it's fine! Just let it all out. It just caught me off guard' she says concentrating on the road

I do as she told me, I let every bit of salty water that wanted to come out of my eyes come out.

After about 6 minutes I calm down and look at Sky

As if she knew what I was going to say

'Luna, he's going to get through this, just don't loose hope.' She says

'I guess you still love him that much that after I tried to help you get over him' She continues

'I hope he will' I look down

'How long till we get there?' I ask her

The car stops

'We're here' She looks at me

'Let's go!' I say jumping out the car

I speed walk towards the reception

'H-hi, which ro-om is G-rayson Dol-an?' I pant for breathe while I have my hand on top of the table trying to keep me steady and standing.

'He's in room 353' She smiles at me

'Thank you!' I say after getting Sky's hand and dragging her with my to the elevator, we get inside and I press the number 6. The door closes and starts going

Being the impatient me, I click the number 6 rapidly as if it will gets to the level 6 any quicker.

'Calm down!' Sky says pulling my hands away from the buttons. She holds my hands and then I have another breakdown. Skylar pulls me into a hug and pats my head gently

'It's fine Luna. He's going to be fine!'

Ding!

The doors open, I nod to Sky and walk out with her by my side

'Luna!'

I hear someone call my name, I turn around to see Ethan waving at us. I run up to him and hug him.

'How is he?' I ask pulling away

'Alright, I guess' he shrugs

'When can we meet him?' Sky says

'I don't know, the doctor said when he comes out he will tell us if we can meet him' he answered

'Oh Okay' both Sky and I say

We all sit on the chairs in silence waiting for the doctor to come out.

A squeaking noise comes from Grayson's room. I look up to see the doctor coming out of his room I got up to go towards him. But Ethan was way ahead of me. We all get to the doctor

'How is he?' Ethan asks

'He's good, I guess' the doctor replies

'What do you mean?' I say

'Well, his heart rate keeps on going to normal, then down then really fast then normal' he says

'What's going to happen to him?' Sky asks

'He's going to be good, you can also visit him now if you want'

'Thank you' Ethan says

We were about to go in until the doctor said something

'Oh and, Grayson. He might not make it through' he says after walking off

Ethan stepped back looking like he was about to faint or something

Sky and I grabbed one of his arms each to steady him

'Are you okay?' I say

How can the doctor be so heartless about it? You don't just casually walk off after what he said!

'Yeah' He says closing his eyes for a moment then reopening them again

'Let's go in'

We both let go of Ethan's arms and let him go in first

'Are you guys gonna come in?' He says after realizing that we weren't following him

'Yeah, but we are gonna let you and Grayson have some privacy before we come in' Sky says

I nod

'Okay, thanks guys' he smiles and walks in

I take a deep breathe and rest my head on Skylar's shoulder closing my eyes

Her arms wrapped around me squeezing me reassuringly.

I'm about 5 minutes later Ethan comes out, with tears rolling down his face

'You go in first, I'll look after Ethan. Then we'll swap' Sky looks at me

I look at Ethan and nod closing the door behind me.
