Thirty two

I gave Skylar her drink and we were off to the car.

We drove back to Skylar's house, we hung out there for a while and watched movies. I felt a little closer to all them. Out of the two boys I was closer to Jacob. I sat down on the sofa waiting for Skylar to choose a movie off of Netflix. As the movie started after 30 minutes of Skylar moaning that she couldn't find anything worth while. I pulled my legs to my chest and felt an arm go over me, Jacobs arm to be exact. After I saw that he moved his arm I automatically snuggled into him with my head near his chest. I got probably about half way through the film before feeling my eyes getting heavy.

In the morning

I got up rubbing my eyes and taking in my surroundings

'Morning sleepy head' I see Skylar poking around the bathroom door

'How did I get up here?' I say scratching my head

'Oh, well Jacob carried you up bridal style!' She says winking at me

'I don't remember a thing' I say to her

'Well if you did the weirdo that you are, you'd probably be staring at him in awh, orrr making sure he didn't hit you anywhere' she giggles at something that was partially true

'Hey! What would you be doing?' I say back to her crossing my arms

'First of all he would not be picking me up bridal style Brandon is, and secondly if he did I would just act like I was still asleep. Because he would make sure I didn't hit anywhere, not in purpose anyways' She says coming out of the bathroom and looking in the mirror

'Fair enough' I say getting up and going towards the bathroom

'Also' she said

I stop and look back at her

'You might hate me for this' She says playing with her fingers nervously

'Oh god, what did you do now?' I say looking at her in exhaustion

'I might of asked them to come to prom with us!' She says looking at me unsurely

'What the actually fuck Sky! We've known them for a day! Did they say yes?'

'Yeah they did'

I look at her with the face of what the hell did you do

'How come bad things always happen either when I'm not with you, or if I'm asleep?' I say sighing

'I honestly don't know. But as least we have dates for prom!' She says jumping up and down

I still look at her not amused

'Oh come ooonn! It's out last prom in high school!' I roll my eyes and start jumping with her

I then walk to the bathroom and I was about to close the door when Skylar peeked round the corner

'We need to go dress shopping!' She shouts

'Okay, But can I please pee?' I say

'Oh yeah sure' She Let the door go

I was about to close it when again

'Should we do matching dresses? Or should we go with different?' She says poking round the corner just in time before the door closes

'I don't know, but I know for sure that I need to piss. So shoo'

'Okay sorry'
I roll my eyes and was about to close the door

'Should we wear long dresses or short dresses?' She pokes her head around the corner again

'Look I don't know. But can I please pee in peace?' I say annoyed

'Okay sure'

I close the door quickly and lock it

After a few minutes I come out and start to change my clothes into a white cropped tank top with light blue jeans and a gold necklace with my name on it and peach adidas shoes

I then went downstairs to see what Sky has made, she had put toast inside the toaster and was staring at it

'What are you doing?' I say walking next to her and looking at the toast

'I always get scared by these' She says not making eye contact with me and still looking at the toaster.

'Okay?' I say

'Basically, I'm trying to make sure it doesn't scare me when it pops up!' She says

'Okay good luck with that-' I just about finish my sentence after the sound of Sky scream fills the room. I block my ears and wait for her to calm down

'Dammit!' She says taking the toast out of the toaster

'I guess today's not the day that it will not scare you' I giggle at her

'Apparently not'
